Hello and welcome Comrades/Brothers!
Are you ready to come to the Call of the Motherland/Fatherland?
Good news:
Round 1 has officially started!
The day is June 22nd, 1940. Where were YOU when Barbarossa started?!
It is the Axis Turn. They may begin to make attack orders at will. Games will be played roughly until next Saturday evening/Sunday early morning for this turn.
Since no one owns individual territories yet, once you make your attack, you'll automatically take over an adjacent territory that is friendly. The same applies for the defense.
For more helpful links:
If you have not read the Rules, that's probably a good idea (http://www.easternfront.org/forums/index.php?topic=8079.0).
If you need specific map layouts, you can find them here (http://www.easternfront.org/forums/index.php?topic=8081.0).
If you would like to consult your team before attack, you can do so by visiting The Kremlin for the Allies or the Eagle's Nest for the Axis.
I don't hear guns blazing yet! The Round can now officially start. You may begin to make threads with your individual attack orders, Axis.
Use this system to post your attack orders:
Faction name (Player Name(s)) attack(s) #XX [map name]
Example:
Panzer Elite (Simuz) attacks #38 [Ruins of Rouen (2)]
Have a wonderful morning!

It is easier to divide these into separate threads I feel, that way I can lock the topics once the matches are complete and posted.
This also gives players an easier time meeting their opponents.
-
Sorry, but I have to disagree. That would totally kill the overview and will only be irritating. One topic for each round is the best way to do this, in my opinion. Players can arrange their meetings here, no need for an own topic for each single game, which won't include more than 2 or 3 posts.

Perhaps but I think this would be more organized.
How about if we put all the attack orders here and allowed players to open their own topics as well? I feel this would be easier seeing that I can lock topics right after the replay has been reviewed and the game can be settled as victory/defeat.
I feel that by separating topics the review process would be much better. Having a list of games will be nice as well as a general area for chatting while the specific round topics can be for arrangements concerning times between players in a more efficient manner by letting players concentrate on their specific battle until it's over with, rather than getting all the hullaballoo from the others.
-
At least put the callouts here, then create a new thread. Makes it easier to check.

This I think. That cool, Maxi? All important threads will be stickies anyway.
-
And you can just delete topics so there's not really a problem of too many topics :P

Or lock them.
I'll split these up into topics. Normally, it will be the responsibility of players to do this but since the threads are made I'll just make them.
And remember that this is all experimental. If we find just massive list are easier later perhaps we'll switch over, there is no problem :)

@JoelTheOwl
Then go to the Kremlin topic and report there. You are not going to get any game if you report at the wrong site ;).
-
I will now do some spam/information??? cleanup.

Im alittle confused about something. You see sector #47(Wrecked Train) and #49(Carpiquet). How are Axis attacking them if both only touch sector #36 and one sector can attack once? Is it you can only attack one enemy territory once(no matter how many touch you, you attack as many as you want as long as its adjacent)? Or one single territory (no matter how many touch it) can attack?

Since it's round one, there's a bit of an exception just to get games going, however once territories are actually owned by individuals it'll play out a bit more nicely with the system. A sector can be attacked more than once by multiple adjacent sectors, but one territory should not be able to attack multiple sectors unless it's a multiplayer slot.
So lets say 2 players and myself own Kiev now. It's our turn to attack. That means we can go in 3 totally different directions since there are 3 players residing in that territory. Or two can go to a 2v2 sector or fall back etc.
