Title: [1] (Simuz) attacks #38 (Soviet Defeat)
Post by: Cranialwizard on May 14, 2012, 01:12:40 AM
Opening topic for Simuz. Normally this is the responsibility of players but the topics were merged.

Allies must pick a player to counter this attack.

This is Sector #38. You will play on the map Ruins of Rouen.

This match is a best of 3. You may either play all 3 (or 2) game against your opponent or work out a situation out with team-mates to sub out with you.

So for example, you will play Match 1, however in Match 2 you switch out with one of your team-mates.

Simuz you may discuss times within this thread with your opponent.

I will need a replay from the winner.

I think also Darcreaver wants to attack. Perhaps the two of you may alternate between each other.

Well, you may play the first round, I think. I need some more train vs PE. However, you should know that Simuz is a quite good player, and the matchup Panzer Elite vs. Soviet is very hard to win as soviet in this version.

I'm more than aware Darc, and if you prefer you take my place in round 1 please do go ahead. I'll stick in reserve or wait for Fish to pop out.

Since you guys were so sneaky to throw Neosdark into this game? Then we are just gonna respond equally! Stealthattack will be joining this game for a round vs Neosdark aswell.

So we have:

Neosdark VS Stealthattack

And

Darcreaver VS Simuz

I'll leave the tiebreaker, if one is needed, to you guys to figure it out.

Organize up :)

that would be great. i think that would make it 3-7 pacific time, so either of those days would work. looking forward to the match!

Just let Simuz and darc fight out the rest of the rounds...this is getting way too complicated to cater to all these different time zones and shit.  To fit so many people into a 1v1 was incredibly stupid to start off with.

If people want more action, there should either be a change in the 1 attack turn per round rule, or the Western Front should be opened.

CER10TY was going to attack Carpiquet, but I suggested that Kleinburger take this fight up instead.

Multiple 1v1s on these sectors allows more games which was the ultimate goal of the tournament.

I posted the signups in March SPECIFICALLY so we wouldn't have 10 people join last minute and expect map space. Which is exactly what happened.

Neosdark will still be playing Stealthattack for the next round. I would like to see the tie-breaker, if one, to go to CER10TY VS TanoSkywalker

Tomorrow around 13:00 GMT+1 would be good for me. Tonight, I'm busy starting from 7 PM and I don't really want to risk a game in the last hour as I'd sort of have to rush.
If 13:00 isn't good for you, I'm available until roughly 15:30 GMT+1 tomorrow. Then, I'm away until 17-18 GMT+1, after that I'll be able to do the match aswell.

Just kidding.

As I said, Drokslit, I got until 15:30, but after that I'll be back at roughly 17-18:00. If you're not awake at 13:00, that's fine.

We're getting some Technical Difficulties. We're having NAT negotiation failures. What should we do?

We could try again now, see if restarting the game helps (which I doubt), else we'd have to wait for my brother to arrive at around 19:00 GMT+1, see if he can fix the port stuff.

Restarting your computers or reconnecting to your home network might help.

still no luck. We're getting NAT negotiation errors. I opened 2 ports I read online I should on my router, restarted my comp and still the same crap. Cer10ty said his bro is getting home in like a few hours so hopefully we can get this working then. If not then I'm not sure what to do. Maybe one of you all can test us out to see if we have problems connecting with any of you? You know like a guinea pig test subject?

Post by: Max 'DonXavi' von B. on May 18, 2012, 05:56:50 PM
Error: Simuz has played a game already this round, so he's not allowed to play one more. Either we have to find another player or we will try it until it works.
Title: Re: [1] Panzer Elite (Simuz) attacks #38
Post by: Chancellor on May 18, 2012, 06:58:01 PM
Bullshit.  A player is not allowed to play for more than one territory, not more than one game.  In addition, its not like Snugz didn't give people a chance to play.  The problem is Drok has a NAT error now, so Simuz should be called in.

TBH its already ridiculous how we are forced to split 1v1s into so many different games between different players.  Its not practical for us to do so.  Simuz and darc should have just played the best out of 3 in this territory and it would be done already, without so much nonsense to deal with.

By forcing Simuz into only 1 game, we're not capitalizing on the skill advantage he has, and we're giving a chance for the noobs on our team to ruin the attack advantage he gave us when they lose against their opponents.

lol don't be such a downer! Its true what he said Maxi, it makes no sense if the attacker is only allowed to attack his own attack once. I can see the logic in not attacking more than 1 territory but not the logic in only 1 attack for 1 map you are attacking. I am not trying to be rude btw, i just think such a rule is stupid.

Anyway GG WP Drokslit. Another one bites the dust .... shuuuush

It's my fault for allowing players to play up here, I was trying to make as many games as possible because of the rampant last minute sign ups.

After this round, Best of 3s will just be played Best of 3s.

Never got to making a campaign for CoH. Thats why when I saw this on Facebook I couldnt help but sign up for it, I could relate to it alot. We play Flames of War. I could touch more on it I guess on another topic or if we ever chat. Do we have a community vent/teamspeak/other talk system btw?
