Title: [6] Killar, JB and MR.Q attack #9 (Paris) [Axis defeat]
Post by: JB23 on June 26, 2012, 01:57:42 PM
I was shocked you took it in the first place....

I was expecting this, so I'm not shocked.

But I was expecting an expected victory, so I expected incorrectly, therefore, I shouldn't expect defeat.

I'm available any day this week but how does Friday 21:00 GMT sound?

That could work, but it would be nice if we could put it up an hour earlier. I'm out of work at 18.00 on Friday, and having a little bit of time to eat and shower before a match is nice. On the other hand I gotta get back to work on Saturday morning.

Lol, Michael isn't this what you'd call a last minute excuse, that made me laugh so hard. Hold on let me find my reply, here we are:

Well only thing you have to do is spare an hour and make this game happen instead of whining. This is told to you on Tuesday as it's told to all players including your opponents. What were you expecting- having a V.I.P letter to your mailbox?  A red carpet? If you would not do this why you signed up and accepted this defence and creating excuses on Thursday ffs? So get your ass up and play or resign and don't come back to tourney again. Yes I'm pissed of hearing whining.

Only Joking Ashes. But seriously can you find a replacement? I'm not going to be here this weekend and myself and others are working earlier today.

Well you can laugh hard but doesn't make sense. How can you compare a wedding which is planned long before the the tourney and a last second surprise tickets? Did I said I will not be available or I can't make this game? Is it hard to see the difference? I think; this is funny.

The only possibility then GMt 21 or 22 after the concert. I'll be completely exhausted and drunk but anyway. I have to entertain my fans :D

Well I'm pretty sure I wont be part of your fan base then. :P If you show up drunk I mean. But 22 GMT could work as it is midnight by then where I live, and I'll just stay awake over night.

I could say something back that would completely squash your argument, and make you doubt your existence. But we'll leave it as (for both of us), A last minute important thing that got in the way of successfully playing a tournament game.

You guys should really stop your bickering. I could be a bit more offensive like some other people on the forum but I'll leave it at this: Just hug it out and shut up :P. You're not making it any better by further adding to this problem, making both of you very............low (not sure how to phrase that last word w/o being offensive)

Petty? We should make a private forum where ashes and Michael can bicker to their Heart's content.

I can wait as long as possible today cause i have plenty of time. But for tomorrow I can't promise for m'self and others. Today 5 of 6 were available. I can wait tonight but I can't force anyone to stay that long, if Hietler and Dot. Shadow agree we will wait till Killar shows up. He mostly comes online pretty late.

Heitler, Isboren, MR Q and myself have all said it will be ok if we play tomorrow if it comes to that, I'm going to wait for Killar but I don't know how long MR.Q can wait as its 2am in his country.

Tomorrow isn't ok i think, I have to go to bed early and I'm going out for dinner 18 - 20 gmt ish. And I think most of allied commanders said tonight was ok, at least posted after the time was put out there, but killar didn't show I take it.  :-\

We're working on downsizing this to a 2v2 so it can be played tonight. All parties seem to agree upon this solution.

Oh well, the Axis lost this match. No idea why I agreed to play Rails and Metal. Absolutely worst PE map ever.

Anyway, replays:

On a side note, I'm kinda annoyed pissed with this match. It *REALLY* should have been played when it was first agreed upon, the we would have been playing the correct map and my day wouldn't have been wasted. The next time this happens I'm calling the absent part as forfeiters.

Retreat move will be to Zone 14.
