Penalties for Round 13
The Penalties have been cleared for both teams. This is now a clean slate from punishment, except for transfers.
Axis:
Panzer4life is being transferred from a Panzer Elite division to a standard Wehrmacht Division
Sommarkatze is being transferred from the Eastern Front to the Western Front (Sector #10)
Allies:
Nil

Mate, the Penalty box is necessary so that those who miss their matches on a regular basis are reprimanded. It's simple: If you sign up for a time, you're according/committing that you will be there at that time. If you don't sign up for a time at all then it shows little commitment at all. :(
The point is, we're sick of the ghost armies and people going AFK for months at a time. It needs to be fixed, and if people are punished for no shows, then so be it.

I stand by Crani's new rule to put people here, even my own team. People have to understand that this is somewhat of a responsibility and you have other people relying on you to turn up. I have no idea what happened during the organisation for this Scheldt game so if you think you were unfairly penalised you should talk to Crani about it. However, the sin bin should stay for those who deserve it.
-
The following are "Sin Binned" for round 9:
Kingnick
CoHmoddersolo
Goering
Glimz
If you would like to appeal the decision, please post in this thread.

LOL getting creative with the names are we ;)

Getting sin binned is a term here in Australia for being sent off in football. Not sure if others have heard of it or not. While discussing the penalty box with Crani I kept saying this and I guess it stuck.

I hadn't heard of sin binned, no, however, I have heard this played at a futbol game...

round ban ? It sounds more clear, maybe :)
-
As an American that plays Rugby Football I don't like the term sin bin being used for someone who is a no show...... but I understand it comes from being penalized for an infraction.

Is Glimz still in the tourney to be put in penalty box? And what if I want to quit tourney but rather than sign off I just gone missing and get in this box forever instead?

No, you wouldn't be "In the box forever", you would be noted that you are in the box multiple times and we'll try to get into urgent contact with you.
Glimz is in the tourney. He's not checking the forum. I have to go find him tonight. I saw him yesterday.
-
It wouldnt even matter if you were in the penalty box forever or if u were kicked out. Fact is, you're not playing tourney games :P
-
Penalty Box sounds fair. And I think that every single person should use Doodle. If you use Doodle, you will basically never be in the penalty box.
-
Thats not true I think. If you say you will show a certain time and u dont, I think you go to penalty box too (I think)
-
Atleast now everyone knows how the penalty box works. Last time I checked the tourney FAQS I couldnt find how the penalty box works. I admit my mistake of not using Doodle. I deeply apologize and hope I can be taken down from the cross. Peace V^^

I came to the personal decision that you were not at fault for your match not being played, you were active and posted your times, just a common one couldn't be found.
You're not sin-binned ;)

I think I'll sticky this and put the new "bad boys" here weekly.

SugarryMinotaur
AfroCaliber
Kingnick221
SublimeSimuz (Moving to area #34
-
Goering and Schneider111 are penalized. If they end up here again they'll be booted
-
Can we just kick them if they don't show any forum activity by the end of this round? We're wasting time keeping trash in our ranks while the Allies just steamroll us in the West. Its not like they were good players anyways to start with...
-
Hey I thought we had agreed that we would take sector #5 but they would be penalized as well. You have penalized them but Allies still control #5. WHats up with that?

Whoops. Someone musta messed up, probably me.
#5 on the map is still labeled Allied.
We can leave it allied and let them play, or have maxi change the map and penalize them.

Up to Simuz, new guys can't defend if they join immediately to replace them though.
You guys have over 20 players.

Map follows later..
