Title: Playing online
Post by: Elvrag on September 22, 2012, 01:15:57 PM
Hello!
I have bought CoH + Tales of valour and now I want to play EF mod. My friend got same CoH + Tales of valour. We both got it on steam. I installed EF to my CoH steam directory , updated it (my friend did same) and when we want to play together in multiplayer he cant join my game. It says that his version is incompatibile. I did something wrong? How we can play together online?

Please help.
Elvrag :)

I'm guessing one of you didn't patch after installing, or didn't correctly set command line parameters for a steam launch so it just launched vCoH.

Go to library -> right click on the game->properties->set launch options.

If you use our launcher, just add them on the settings window.

There should be a shorcut on your desktop. Otherwise if you have steam you can look at:

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\company of heroes\EF_Launcher

or if you use 64 bits OS:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\company of heroes\EF_Launcher
