Title: Alternative armament for NI and CNS

Volunteers(especially at the early stage of war) were not-too-well supplied....BUT-i was talking with some ww2 vets,and they told me militia and also naval infantry,especially during battle for sevastopol had used self-made/scavenged "grenades/molotovs"from whatever they found or took as a trophy from their fallen opponents...this was varying from shattered glass hg to molotovs to improvised fragmentation hg made from junk metal etc..
So-my suggestion is-remove munition cost from cons molotovs and NI and add like longer cooldown-like maybe 90 or 120 seconds.

It wouldnt be balanced.
Lets say that they need to find 15 munitions to make the molotovs :)

There isn't much need for this change in my opinion. It would be quite a bit useless to make Molotov Cocktails free just to make us wait longer to use them. I believe this was already done back when we first introduced Molotov's in one of the previous patches (1.4 was it). The balance concern lies in the fact that the Soviets use munitions to upgrade, and having one of their most readily available abilities not use munitions could give them quicker Armory upgrades, potentially making them overpowered

This idea was already implemented, as neos said. However it was deemed unbalanced (I assume) and changed

well it is fine now as it is any way,just thought it would be more authentic by the fact that tha cons and ni were undersupplied for long time ;D

The original version of the mod implemented the such "Free abilities with long cool down" with only a hell of a struggle to balance and overall broken gameplay.

I can see what your saying, but i imagine that it would indeed imbalance the game, but maybe a slightly lowerd grenade's maybe by 10munitions? and a slight raise in armory prise's, just for authenticity. but really i dont think there is a need for a change :P
