for some unknown reason i am unable to start coh ef...it keep telling me that media cannot be validated ??? ??? ???....any ideas anyone?please?

Open steam, go to your library then right-click on the CoH you use and go to properties -> Launch Options and set it to -dev -mod Eastern_Front.

Then you must run the game through the Library.

You will be prompted to validate your game, click continue. Then you will be asked where did you buy the game, choose steam. If it sent you to desktop, look at the taskbar and click on CoH app. It should be ready to play but your CoH profile will be offline.

I you do what blackbishop told you it will work. It worked for me.
