Hello comrades of the Eastern Front team! :)
Could you add the Soviet medium tank T-44 maybe as a reward unit? This tanks was build more times
than the King Tiger and some were used until the end of the war. It had pretty good armour and was fast and so it would
be a Soviet panther ;)!

What is this ?
Better version on t-34/85 ::)

It'd be useful yes, but I was under the impression the IS-2 was supposed to be the Soviet's tank to be the heavy AT like the German's Panther. Or at least it was, until it's damage values were broken completely.
-
I can't really see a place for it... it's too heavy to replace a T-34, not quite heavy enough to replace an IS-2. Besides, they were never used operationally against Germany, and before somebody brings up the IS-3, I personally don't care for that either, it's role could quite easily be covered by a late model IS-2.
-
In my opinion, the T-44 would be a good reward unit for the IS-2 because
it has less armour but it is faster.
Also there were some T-44s used on the Eastern Front but not so many.
T-44 was more used than the IS-3 :P!

And T-44 is just a heavier version of the T-34/85... just like KV85. IMO I'd prefer to put an IS1 instead, would be easier to create than the T-44 and both also have the same weapons as well. However it would still use the same gun than the T-34/85 so the performance against axis tanks would be the same.
I think the T-44 will suit for @neosdark mod rather than for us.

It also had a weaker gun than the IS-2, 85mm still had a tough time penetrating a Panther. And no the T-44 wasn't used in combat, I'll welcome any evidence to the contrary, but the T-44 had it's fair share of initial teething problems brought on by the new chassis which made it unfit for combat testing, these problems wouldn't be fixed until the T-54 entered serial production in 1947.
