Hi :) I used to be quite outspoken once upon a time on these boards. I know you are quite busy getting OstHeer out.
Was just wondering, though...
: Could it be possible to pretty skin the Sherman76 like the Sherman-Jumbo ? It's a sort of darkish brown with no lettering whatsoever.
Not green like the other US tanks. No starts, no labels... Sherman Jumbo pretty. Is it normal the Sherman 75 should be prettier than Sherman 76? :)
(Yes, I prefer the new enlarged turret for the Sherman 76. I am referring to the skin).
: Also, this has bothered me for some time... British ought to be using Sexton tank. Not the Priest :p
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexton_(artillery) Make it default replacement for UK, and give Priest as reward replacement for 105mm Howi in Artillery? :)

I would like new skin for Sherman 76 and Replacement of Priest by Sexton for UK :) Thank you :)
(And remove Staghound tank for UK. It's horrible) :)
: Small question :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-70_tank
Main
armament 45 mm gun Model 38 (94 rds.)
Secondary
armament 7.62 mm DT coaxial machine gun
Always felt it was rather useless in the game. But, question. Why does the EF one have no Coaxial machine-gun?
The COH2 has one. And it is a LOT deadlier :D Why was EF's T70 removing of half it's weaponry?

British orders for the Sexton II eventually totalled 2,026 vehicles.
: They use british 25pounder howitzer :D
: The M7 soon proved successful and the British requested 5,500 of them, an order which was never fully completed.
They did find problems with the M7 though, as the primary armament was of U.S., not British standard. This meant that the M7s had to be supplied separately, causing logistical complications.[6] It was a problem that was only truly resolved in 1943 on arrival of the 25-pounder-armed Sexton developed by the Canadians on a similar chassis.[7] Until that time though, the British continued to use the M7 throughout the North African Campaign, the Italian Campaign and even a few during the early days of the Normandy Invasion. It was also used in Burma and played a significant part in the Battle of Meiktila and the advance on Rangoon in 1945. After the Sexton appeared, most British M7s were converted into "Kangaroo" armored personnel carriers.
British liked the priest, asked for more. Americans like them too. Said, we're keeping ours!
British turned to Canada, who made Sexton. Sexton worked so nice, they converted the M7s to Armored personnal carriers.
Initially called 'defrocked priests and then Kangaroos'. British did not use Priests in the Artillery configuration except in Africa and Italy.
Those in operation normandy all had the artillery gun removed.

If we only think about the apperance. Is there a differant between the Preist and the Sexton?
-
I think all he wants are skin changes, which is reasonable
-
: Sexton doesn't have flexible machine gun at top.
: Sexton has 25pounder instead of 105mm Howi.
: Sherman 76 is your responsability since you were the ones to modify it in the first place (The turret)
But the result is no longer US green, it's a kind of brown. It has no labels, no star, no... nothing.
You prettifyied the Sherman-Jumbo, then took it away :p
I would like if the Sherman 76 could look like the Jumbo (The labels, not the model!)
British didn't use arty priests for Normandy/Europe. Only for Africa/Italy (I know Italy is in Europe) :)
Only as armored troop transports (First called defrocked Priests, then Kangaroos) The british priests
were the only ones, built on the Lee tank frame. The ongoing was on Grizzly and Ram.
Americans used the Sherman hull. And gave the old ones to the British who then made APCs with them.
Please add the Sexton to the game ;) It drives me nuts to see British using artillery Priests in Normandy :D
Also, Sexton is VERY easy to model.
Just remove the MG pulprit con. And change the location/angle of the gun.
Change the gun type :)

I also want MG to be added to the T-70.
The T-70 in EF is missing half it's weaponry. Why is that?
-
A bit OT,but why do you hate the staghound? It's one of the best brit vehicles, for the vanilla brits the CCT is a lot more useful if you're going for the tanks(though stag still has some application),but for the RMC it's absolutely smashing.

@ElWrobel where did you get staghound from, OP was talking about the Sherman 76mm(The Long Barrel Upgrade in vCoH) skin, The Sexton(A OQF 25pdr armed SPG based off of the Grizzly Hull) and how the T-70 tank for the Soviets is missing its coaxial machine-gun is missing.
@Sommarkatze There is a lot of model differences between the two SPGs:
Priest: (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/25/M7_Priest_at_APG.jpg/800px-M7_Priest_at_APG.jpg)
Priest Ingame:(http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20081021022332/companyofheroes/en/images/d/dc/M7_Priest_01.jpg)
Sexton: (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0d/Sexton.JPG/800px-Sexton.JPG)
The Priest In-game is the M4A3 hull version, or M7B1, and has an area for a machine gunner, and no Muzzle Break. Where as the Sexton Has the Grizzly Hull(Canadian Built M4A1), No Machine Gunner, and has a Muzzle Break, and doesn't have that piston above the gun bore that helps with recoil(Don't know the actual name, but I do know that's what it is for on the priest).
Side note: Really need spoiler code, or if there is code for spoilers for the forums i would love to know what it is, as [spoiler][/ spoiler](Without the space) doesn't seem to work.

Not to be off topic, but in CoH ToV/EF the staghound is a broken, cheap, extremely cost effective unit that not only promotes spamming, but creates a more dull gameplay. Get 4 of these and they render your schreck PGs/Grenadiers/Storms useless, also paks have hard time killing them before they kill it, and they are easily replaceable, and a wolfpack of them can take down a stug or panzer IV, not to mention they instant suppress everything.
