When I enter the Multiplayer section to search for a game I see lots of grey games I can't join (I guess the normal CoH games) only sometimes I find 2-3 games I can join.
Is it because people just don't play anymore or is it a problem in my CoH?

That depends, if you use a custom skin pack or sound pack then it is a problem on your end. Otherwise people just don't play at the time you checked.
The grayed out games not only mean CoH games, they are all the games that could be available to you, either vCoH or Modern Combat or BK or any other MP mod.

I'm not using anything custom, just the things the mod installed. I've installed also Blitzkrieg mod(trying out mods) maybe it is the issue?(also have the same problem in blitz mod :S)
But I don't think so, because I have EF for long time(yes it's updated).

EF and BK mods are standalone, which means they do not mess with each other content. This just means there is no people available for you, either due to your connectivity or because you don't have luck at the time you try to play.
Also, if your firewall has blocked CoH, you aren't likely to find anything :(.
