I've been playing the mod for a month now as the Soviets and have only played with AI since it's my way of "practicing". It works since I've got the hang of the Breakthrough Strat but what really ticks me off is the Propaganda Strat. I mean, how do I go about it? Do I need both mustering tent and support barracks? How about setting up a defensive line when all I have is an MG emplacement and AT guns usually get decrewed by infantry blobs. Yes I mess up a lot with proaganda but i can fare well with breakthrough. How do I go about the "Infantry and arty" centric style of propaganda? Do I get RBS asap? Or should I rush the tank hall like I usually do with breakthrough and skip SST altogether? Any general tips to using this strat?
EDIT: I'm running the latest version of EF if that needs to be mentioned.

Good that you mention which Version you use. Sometimes People post about problems they have when they try to Play EF in older Versions.
Anyways, for Propaganda you can and should start with t2. Build 1-2 ingenery, then call in a conscript and build an sg-43 squad. Start capping, get a 2nd conscript and a 2nd sg-43 or a sniper/gaz43 Jeep in case of enemy snipers.
Then try to hold a Portion of the map, if necessary, call in more conscripts. Use the Commissar ability to transform Conscripts into Strafnye troops. This way Conscripts become quite powerful Units. Even though they're intended to be used defensively (just like mp40 Volks), you can still perform flanks and use them for performing assaults.
If you want to go offensive, backtech to tier1, get molotovs.
Then you can decide: either Switch over to the left side of Propaganda and get Navals as replacement for Strelky/guards, or use the other abilities on the RHS.
From that Point get SU 85/SU 100 in case you Need AT, or get t34s. Use Katyushas lategame or God of War to destroy enemy weapon Crews/at guns.

that would be great! I've played vCOH with a couple of my lads back in the old country but they stopped COH for a while. Cool! Let me find you on steam if that's the case. What do I search for?
Also: I'm having trouble with the reinforcing my troops from the Outpost. How come it doesn't work? I also checked back that the Outpost is garrisonable? Am I encountering a sort of bug with reinforcing or I'm totally missing something altogether?

The outpost is garrisonable alright. Also, it can't reinforce troops until it's been upgraded.

WWWWWWAAAAAAAIT. What do you mean by "upgraded"? Kind of like how the other factions have "Reinforce Point"?

You can upgrade it with munitions and reinforce from it.

Not exactly like reinforcement points, as for upgraded, when you select the soviet outpost, you can see it can be upgraded. Once it is, you can reinforce from it as advertised.

I am the community event manager, I run events on Saturday starting at 5 pm UTC/GMT if you are in Europe! 12 am EST/NAEST if you are in the United States. I usually try to also connect players with others or run announcements for them. As of lately, it's been kinda all quiet on the eastern front in regards to players joining. However, I suspect that player counts will rise in the future with some of the plans we have coming down the pipe.

Update: I finally nailed that reinforcing thing and using it like hell and oh! I'm getting the hand of Propaganda. And how invaluable two SU-76s could do and a bunch of Katyushas.
