Title: Map Scrolling: Only up and left but not down or right
Post by: carstman1 on February 09, 2011, 06:40:02 PM
Hi,
i installed this awesome mod today and started a game as soviet player. Everythings fine so far.

After the game started, i realized that i only can scroll the map up and left but not right or down. This makes gameplay impossible. I didnt find anything like this in the forums.

Does anybody knows what to do?

THX!

Do you play the game windowed?

No, i played fullscreen.

But this was a good advice and i think i solved the problem:
While loading EF last time i recieved email during the starting screen. My computer switched into window mode just to display the Mozilla Thunderbird Email Alert. After that it went back to Fullscreen. This is not a problem when playing "normal" CoH. But in EF i could not scroll right. So i left the game again to windows desktop, turned of Thunderbird an startet EF new. This time without Email Alert an no switching to desktop. Surprise: EF works fine now!!!

Thanks again für this great mod. I always thought about why there is no red army in CoH.

In my experience, when you are interrupted by a pop up could happen a couple of things:

1) CoH is minimized and the alert is shown, when you return to the game will be paused.

2) CoH is changed from Fullscreen to window mode and you see the alert. To return to Fullscreen you must hit alt+enter.

I don't remember if i had another similar situation though.

I always play in windowed-maximized mode - works great
