The patch (1.01) confuses me.

From my experience with the mod, the soviets have been weak in the early game, and strong in the late game.

All the patch seems to do though, is made the early game difficult to the point where it's almost impossible. I'd have made the soviets less powerful in the late game.

Thoughts?

Basically you are wrong and should have played better.

Sounds like we need a Russian to voluntary his time.

Why do we need a Russian volunteer? What we need to know is how to work recorded dialogues into the proper slots so the units say the right things in the right circumstances.

After that, you need to find a number of people with good recording equipment (such as a mostly silent room and a good quality mic) to spout clichéd lines like "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH, MOTHERLAAAAAAAAND!" for a couple of weeks (the less people you have, the more time it will take and the less varied the dialogues will be).

That's stupid as fuck. Shut up Saavedra go back to ruining EiR and OMG.

Yeah i see that too.

Soviets kick arse early game but once the Germans vet some units and produce some of their high tier stuff they roll the enemy.

It's funny because people claim everything is alright balance wise when the developers actually intended the exact opposite of this.

-Ingenery/conscripts need to do less damage, in particular to light vehicles (for PE).

-Major's pistol is regularly one shotting soldiers with it's crits and that's retarded for such an early game unit.

-Flag strelky's machineguns are a bit too accurate.

-Sharpshooter teams wipe PE out since you can easily buy a couple and take out chunks of squads like that.

-Tank hunters teams shoot too slow for too much damage/deal waaaay too much damage to buildings.

-Heavy mortar's regular round is too strong, maybe replace it with a regular round and give it the strong rounds instead of barrages.

-T70/T90 do crap damage but are too tough, overall seem pretty useless with that combination.

-SU85, IS-2 deal a bit too much damage to tanks.

-Not one step back needs some kind of graphic to display it's in effect.

-Partisans are crazy strong for the CP cost.
