Biggest problem is real-life PTRD - it's one person - anti-tank - rifle. What does it mean? I't AT gun, so if PTRD was designed to penetrate tough tank armor it doesn't suprise me that they deal so heavy dmg to buildings. Of course even heavy tanks must give up under heavy PTRD fire (10-12 rifles can do MIRACLES). But, what about killing enemy soldiers? It's rifle, operated by one soldier, so it isn't too hard to aim directly at enemy (bazooka/pzfaust/pzshreck don't guarantee direct hit into aimed point, rifles do). AT rounds that hit a man usually can rip off his arm/leg (but not tear him apart, let's be reasonable people -_-), cannot it?
Since realism is so important, lets reduce the accuracy to like 10% while the unit is moving. Because I doubt that in real life you can hit anything with an anti material rifle at the same time as you're running. let's be reasonable about this shall we

Well how about if it worked similar to creeping barrage in the sense that you could aim it. You should still only use it on your own sector but you could then aim it into the enemy sectors and that's where the shells would hit. I attached a picture to explain a bit better I marked where you would click to use the ability, then the arrow where it'd be aimed in this case, and then the yellow square is the area that would get bombarded.... or something like that.

Frustrating against the soviets with PE. I had played two matches with my friend and this was the results: 1. I went to straight to MP44-s, I pushed back his commie ass back, until the AA tanks rolled out, and killed most of my men, dominated the map. In this point you haven't really much anti tank units, that really effective to the most tanks. Frankly, the AA tank destroyes the AT Halftrack, and laughing as it's do.
2. Went to Halftracks. There was a large infantry blob, and lost of the HTs. A P4 comed Handy, but that time, my opponent got T34/84's and I got a headache.
So, I think its a bit unbalanced for PE, I'll wait for the next patch, and play as Wehrmacht.
Did you get a mortar halftrack? In my experience that is the single best unit against the soviets early game (with Pgren support of course) and usually it will rack up 30-40 kills. Helps keep the soviet low on manpower, slowing their teching down and that should give you time to get a marder or schreks.

so it's sort of like the wermacht upgrade system with paid vet, but it works on individual tanks?

I've won as axis most of the the time but mostly because some very crucial mistakes were made on their part.
Like the last game one of the players decided to multicap a high munitions point with like 5 conscripts and a command squad when he KNEW that I had a MHT in the area.
I basically just drove right up to them and fired an incendiary mortar, then watched 70% of them just die. And shit like this happens a lot.

I don't like the veterancy/time idea. This pretty much means that a squad just sitting around "cleaning their rifles" would gain veterancy.
How about only counting combat time?

but for that bravery they should get a lock-down with increased range
of such a thing even I thought. so it should be unlocked something with which the tank firing range limit of a very large can or something like a one shoot kill (cool down 10min)
Abilities that unlocks with veterancy would be really interesting

This is really nice One suggestion tho, to make the SU85 unlock be as valuable as the IS2 it should cost less munitions, because you'll need to buy the pretty darn expensive 100 mm gun upgrade for it to be really good. Your costs are too expensice. Soviets can't secure resources.
How many games have you played?
And this needs to be fixed or they are broken playing with other factions, especially the britts. Having them secure resources with their outposts would make sense to me. Either have it happen automatically or you could make it do it with an upgrade it after it's built.

i did once a massive conscript spam and made a movie from it (2:30 min) but its 1.1 gig ... would take 5 hours to upload ><
Just use any random video editing program to compress it.

A question:compensate all? the problem isn't only NO secured resourcing, but.... NO secured resourcing+NO recrew+NO retreat
it'a problem in 1vs1.
No recrew is a Relic issue, it has been stated in about 10 threads already you twat and no Retreat... um...the russians didn't retreat so it was intended to be like this! no secured resourcing, um ok? there are more then enough NON FUEL consuming units to take on the Wehr or PE and Ammo is only used for Upgrades so I am failing to see the validity of your argument...
Conscripts, non-upgraded strelky and one command squad is literally all you get without spending significant amounts of fuel. All upgrades cost 200 or 300 munitions.
Why not have the Soviets be able to outpost resources, but have their outposts cost more manpower than everyone else? Currently there aren't enough conscripts to suficiently counter volksgrenadiers (keep in mind that conscripts only get 4 rifles per 8-man squad; they're basically just cannon fodder). So the Germans just send a few volks and a couple MG's and take over the whole map with ease.
No they wont. Did you not notice the free artillery which costs wehr 100 munitions that you get from the command squad? Did you not notice the fire-up ability which makes it possible to storm any and all early defenses? BTW how long is the cooldown on that artillery? 3 minutes or something? That's like getting 33 munitions/minute. Oh and don't forget, those conscripts only cost 17 to reinforce and the reinforcement time is insanely short. dont change this... this is what makes the Russians unique because they have to decide what they are going to spend their resources on... and if you play a 2v2 play with an american or brit and there you go you have secured resources
But that's the problem. If a faction is balanced in 1v1 WITHOUT secured resources then that faction becomes unbalanced WITH secured resources from other factions. Giving the Russians the ability to secure resources with outposts and balancing them with this in mind would solve the issue.

Believe it or not I actually played a 4v4 game like that. Ended in absolute massive conscript spam. Got the replay to if somebody wanna see it.

Command squad is 350mp. Damn straight it should kill volks 1v1. Agree about the attack radius of the strike.
the brittish commander costs what? 250 manpower and 15 fuel? Does that mean he should beat volks?. The command squad should cost that much because of the abilities it comes with, Like... free arty... no penalty rush and insane view range with the binocs.

Imo its the KV2 that needs to be buffed. for an end doctrine unit its slow, bad armor, gun not much better then StuH with bad range, among other things.
Not better than the StuH XD? What are you trying to kill, infantry? If your complaining about the isu being op..I bet you have never used it..Its very very slow, the reload time is awful and you can circle strafe it like no tomorrow
Indeed. I've only seen it used in 4v4 and whenever I see one it usually just feels like it's another 1000 manpower to take away from the enemy. Mostly because people seem to think it can do any sort of damage against tanks on it's own. Another problem besides the slow reload, and the slow turning speed, seems to be the time it takes for it to fire after it's layed it's sight on the enemy. It's almost like you could circle strafe it with a Marder. If it's gonna be effective at all you need to guard it with tanks and overwatch it with AT guns so that you cannot circle strafe it.

no way!!!! storm troopers are toast against Partisans
Not when they're vettet and PE vets faster against soviets than against any other faction because of the infantry slaughter.
