Suggestions / Re: Nebelwerfer 41 Reward Unit« on: December 11, 2011, 06:24:55 AM »... It does? I actually never bothered to really count, I just went off the data I had about the Nebelwerfer 42, I guess the one the Wehr has is a different model, it's really hard to tell, the Germans produced alot damn variants of the Nebelwerfer, it really gets confusing to which one is which. Here's the best information I could fine on it: http://www.wehrmacht-history.com/heer/rocket-artillery/28-32-cm-nebelwerfer-41.htm Apparently it's also the same launchers that the Walking Stuka and that one French tank the PE has on them,so you could probably use those as a ingame reference. 3
Suggestions / Nebelwerfer 41 Reward Unit« on: December 11, 2011, 05:35:38 AM »
The Nebelwerfer 42 is the current model used by the Wehr in CoH, I am suggesting that the Nebelwerfer 41 be added as a reward unit for the Nebel 42.
The Nebelwerfer 41 had six barrels compared to the five barrels of the 42' model and fired heavier and larger shells, but I think it had a shorter firing range than the 42 and weighed more. So it sacrifices firing range and speed for more firepower and an additional rocket. 345 launchers were built from 1941-45 and served on the Eastern Front, Italian Theater, and the Defense of France . ![]() 4
Suggestions / Re: Suggestions for Reward units for the UK, US, SU, WH, PE, OH« on: January 26, 2011, 11:03:07 PM »
What about a reward unit representing either the Asian American 442nd Infantry Regiment or some of the African American Units that fought inn Europe during World War II(Maybe as reward factions). They have not been featured(or even mentioned) in most of the World War II games I have played.(I think there was a level in a CoD Game I played on the PS2 when your playing as a tank crew in a African American Tank Division)
I would also suggest a squad of US Marines as a replacement for the rangers; but they didn't fight in Europe. (Although they probably would have been deployed if the war lasted longer in Europe than it did in the Pacific;but that is just me being theoretical and plus they haven't been featured in any released mods so far.) 5
Ostheer Suggestions / Re: Ostheer Vehicle Poll« on: August 05, 2010, 06:24:32 AM »
I would like to see the Brummbar make a appearance. You rarely see in any World War II games, and maybe have the Sturmtiger as a reward unit that replaces it, with you only being allowed to build one and it has a slower firing rate in exchange for greater fire power and range.
And Maybe a KT with the Henschel Turret instead of ugly Porsche Turret. 6
Red Army Suggestions / Re: A method to secure territory?« on: January 24, 2010, 03:55:26 AM »Play Soviets with one American teammate and let him secure the territory. Tried that and it failed miserably, I was not able to generate enough resources to build that many Observation Posts and maintain my company at the same time. It will be better if the soviets could secure their own territories themselves rather than rely on their allies, so their allies can manage their companies. 7
Red Army Suggestions / A method to secure territory?« on: January 23, 2010, 10:31:16 PM »
Currently the Red Army lacks the ability to secure the territory they have captured.
I consider this a major balance issue because the other factions can secure territory, which means they also can produce MORE resources than the Soviets(Because Secured territories generate more resources than a unsecured). This also means it is very easy to Flank the soviets and cut their supply lines. The Soviets can get manpower easily, It is Fuel and Munitions that I am worried about, they seem to generate those 2 resources slower than the other factions to me. So the Methods I suggest are: 1. Give the Outpost the power to secure territory 2.Make a Observation Post Like building for the soviets 3. Go with the Panzer Elite's Style of using a specific type of vehicle to secure territory 4.The British Method with deploying trucks.
