snipers prefer bolt action in lower calibers SVT-40 and Mosin Nagant are the same calibre. 7.62x54mm R. Heavier ammunition flying at the same speed as lighter ammunition is actually MORE accurate, (although this is not calibre) because it takes more force from the wind to displace the bullet's path on the heavier round. Anyhow. I don't see a new Mosin Nagant scoped as neceary, but it might be nice. Especially if it used a different sound, so that an Axis player could easily identify (by hearing) if their troops are being snipped by an Ace or Sharpshooter team.

Cool. Will it get the new model in this patch? By the way, they're also a weapon icon you guys made for the DP-28, which isn't actually being used - you're still using the Bren icon (the icon that shows up underneath the squad symbol, used to show the squad has a weapon.)

Anything made for 2.500 and up works with 2.601.

Did you get naked? I said that helped. If you don't it works only 50% of the time.
And we're not lying as much as you are gullible.

Germans picked up SVT-40s (very prized weapon), and the G41(w) was issued in small numbers.
On topic: the SVT-40 has the same barrel-length as the Kar98k. This barrel length is shorter than the M91/30, but since the Kar98k uses different ammunition, I can't really say that the SVT-40 has the same accuracy - but the accuracy of it should be considered pretty good.

Bren LMG has ~0 suppression. Bren Carrier Vickers MG has suppression though. What do you mean? The DP-28 already has superior suppression to the Bren LMG. Each DP-28 has 2/5 the suppression of the Carrier Vickers MG - thus the two of them makes 4/5 of a Carrier VMG.

Worked for me. The naked part helped. Was pretty epic - I'll post pics later. And not of the Bismarck.

Yea, sure, but you seem to make it sound like an untrained person is 10x better than a Soldier, so why arn't armies composed entirely of untrailed civilians? No one in that time selected people with low IQ,and use it as a shield.
No ONE did but the Soviets used deserters, PoWs, and dogs to clear minefields. Sounds like shield to me.

From BuckyBoy's site. Implementing it into other mods is fairly simple, it just required some extra coding on my behalf. http://forum.1337coh.com/showthread.php?t=122If you want to use it in Eastern Front mod you will have to go through more-than-usual effort of adding a new Race into the SCAR, rather than just adding units. Obviously it doesn't work online, so if you add it in there you'll either need to delete it, or use a backup.

How the hell do people connect guitar/rock to WW2? Just doesn't seem right when I hear them together. For a Modern War shooter, sure. But WW2, no.
That said I don't like the 1940's piece either as it's too classical. I think we should find a piece that captures the feeling of the Ostheer, not any actual songs from the period.
The Panzer Elite's soundtrack by Inon Zur is a great example. But of course we can't just hire Inon Zur for EF haha
There is already a music-thread and here are no new post - so; close. Lord Rommel - DEV

Tank Guards have low health, so best bet would be a Vet. 3 Volks squad with Mp40 along with a Grenadier w/ 2 Mg-42 or a KCH. Tank Gaurds have 4 men each 110 health AND Soldier Armour. That's not low. That's much better than even Vet 3 Grenadiers. Let alone they all have SMG. They squash anything that doesn't have 4x MP44 or FG42 and Green Cover. and with the Volks squad you can go overkill and use a Panzerfaust on them. Huh? Waste 35 munitions to have a 25% chance of hitting them and merely damaging them even with that hit. (Panzerfaust does 75 damage to Infantry.) Doesn't sound like a good bargain. Flame. While I've been on the giving end of the spectrum, my Guards always had problems when hit with Flame (as long as I didn't micro vs V3 Pio). Sounds like something worth trying. They use Soldier armour so they take 1.0 damage from Flamethrowers, meaning they only have 110 health - this is still extremely high, but not as high as it is vs. Rifle units. Against standard Rifles they have the equivalent of 145 hitpoints EACH.

Situation:
1x Tank Gaurd squad 1x Any Wehrmacht squad, any vet level
After having an online game where a single Tank Gaurd squad charged through the open and stomped my Vet 3 Knight's Cross who were defending in Green, I decided to test them using Cheatmod.
Tank Gaurds can not only beat KCH Vet3 in Green, but they also demolish Grenadiers Vet3 in Green with 2x LMG42.
They can't beat Panzer Elite MP44 4-man Squads in Green.
So any tips for Wehrmacht Infantry to 1vs1 a Tank Gaurd squad? Or do I need Snipers and other heavy support to defeat a single Infantry unit with Infantry?
Edit: Stormtroopers with 4x MP44 can do the job. But they're doctrine-specific. Would still appreciate strategies for normal units.

Coding issue. It is 100% impossible.
On the bright side we can just say the Russians didnt give their Riflemen the training to use Mortars. But I assure you, as a modder myself, and having been explained it by EF, this is a limitation to making a new faction.

Oh, cool, thanks. I didn't see your thread as it's in a different section. Thanks for linking, glad to see the response you got.
