yeah the Brummbär "SturmpanzerIV" was acturally used on the eastern front, in battles like "Kursk - Warsaw uprising" and other skirmishes
i really like the design and i don't see why Sturmtiger lovers wont just satisfi with a brummbär instead?
euh, Sturmtiger lover here, i see the Brummbär as a buildable unit as a opposed to the Sturmtiger being one-per-game-only akind to the King-tiger and the Jagdpanther in all honestly, i could understand why people are coming from against the sturmtiger, it didnt saw a lot of action(was only used in the warsaw uprising, right?) but, gameplay wise i feel it could be different compared to the "equivalent" units, as opposed to the Elephant that could end being kinda similar to the Jagdpanther but thats like my oppinion

they got light and medium tanks even Brits don't have any really heavy tanks British Sherman is good but not as Panther, Tiger or K Tiger so i don't see any problem of balance at Japanese side...
the thing is...brits dont have heavy tanks because they are about artillery and defenses the japaneses strong points were naval and air warfare, thats kinda hard to implement in a small scale game like COH, and if you changed them a lot so they can fit in the game, you may as well use other countries from Europe at least in my opinion

i disagreed
1-tanks loose the color to avoid confusion 2-crushing dead tanks is a counter to the repairtiger, the soviet mechanics and the wehrmacht, yes, you can blow them up with bombs and shells, but is more simple and easy to just drive a tank and crush it 3-this is basically giving a advantage the Panzer Elite and Soviets have to all sides, not to mention the repair tiger will be kinda useless in that situation
COH may have a realism as one of his main aims, but that doesnt mean the gameplay should be changed to please realism

Just as a small information; CoH used vehicles and weapons which where USED druing the war! what about the Panzer Elite bergetiger? and since you are a developer, whats the team opinion about the Sturmtiger? i like the tank and i think a "super" assault gun as a "final" doctrine unit will fit with the general theme of Germans sides to have a "super" unit while being diferent of another king tiger or the elephant that could end being to similar to the jadgpanther dont take this a suggestion, i am new and i want to know the opinion of the team about it, so i can shut up about it

Who needs paratroopers armed only with pistols? I think he was suggesting a officer armed only with a pistol than have the ability to call paratroopers, i assume, more better armed than the officer

I dont understand the ratte and monster, i mean, they imagen of a super tank crushing at everything in its path is awesome, but i cant see that in COH, it feel more small battles than wont let something like that work
and the maus is horrible, i mean you have better looking heavy tanks like the Sturm Tiger and the Elephant, not to mention they are kinda more viable for the scale of the game

Spain...I could see one unit with a certain number of troops allowed
I was uner the impresion that the main idea of the spaniard defenders was a doctrine special squad that you can have more than one in the battlefield unless killed, so nothing really "war winning" but still helpfull

I meant to say "according to some sources the Germans managed to recruit an additional 250 Spaniards after the Blue Division was disbanded until the Allied landings in Normandy." that's a quote from one of the sources.
oh, ok then, never mind

250 Spaniards on the whole Eastern Front is not much. just because it was called the 250 infanterie-division, it didnt mean it had only 250 soldiers, specially since they got ten times that number in war merit crosses so your facts, i am asking for sources about them

What if instead of an ability it works more similar to the medic tent the Americans have? through i could see the problem of trying to make it unique instead of just a rip off of the medic mechanic

i think the best allieds to add are the finns and the spaniards well, they were veterans, so they have no place in a ability like this, do they?
