Off Topic / Re: World of tanks
« on: April 17, 2011, 06:59:07 PM »
I played it, but I got bored wuth I went back to leichtrator. I am mad I didn't get a Sherman, because I was in closed and 900 some battles.

That gift M4 is really good only to grind credits. Further it is very average tank and I hate it. Average armor protection, average accuracy, average penetration, average damage... yuck.

So in conclusion - don't worry about not getting one.

MGs as a 1st line of defence vs Soviets?
Any support center upgrade or a vet 1 Major and youre dead.
Go volks and med bunkers.

Key is combination of units. Meaning go Volks + MGs and med bunkers. MGs could be nice exactly inside of those bunkers or other buildings. And if Major with barrage is a threat to MG then it is even bigger threat to bunker, don't you think?

Go T2-T3 for Armored cars and then Mortar HT. It should deal with blobs of infantry pretty well. Key is good micro, so repair (best use Luftwaffe ground forces) a lot and always be aware of your vehicles. It works good also in vanilla CoH PE, in EF PE is slightly buffed so it is even better. AC is good vs infantry, Mortar vs AT guns. Don't be too aggressive but also don't be too scared to use them. Focus on one part of the map only, inflict more damage than receive and you should be fine.

Due to heavy micro dependance PE is far most complicated to play so if you have problems to play it you have to train it more = play more. Also using of key shortcuts help too.

I like the doctrines in this concept. They are sure 'doctrinal'. Is there somewhere posted how the Ostheer doctrines will look like?
