It's working fine now. I guess Steam or the developers fixed the issue.

And to the developers asking why I simply do not play the non-steam version, it is because of crashes about 30-50% of all played games. I posted a bug report to you about the issue without any luck. Anyway played about 5 games now with the Steam version of the mod and no crashes this far, the problem might have fixed itself.


Thanks for making CoH a better and more full game.

I can't seem to install the Eastern Front mod via Steam because I "Don't own a version of the base game".

My problem seems to be that I don't own "Company of Heroes", I do only own "Company of Heroes (New Steam Version)" and Steam therefore doesn't allow me to install the game. I've played the mod successfully before by downloading it from the EF website, so what is going on?

The logs seems to be fine, could you look if there is something in the ai log with the same timestamp than the scar log you uploaded?

Would do that if I could find any.

The only type of logs available at "C:\Users\Enps\Documents\my games\Company of Heroes Relaunch\LogFiles" is:

artmessages.x
datacrc.x
designmessages.x
localizer.x
nismessages.x
physicsmessages.x
scarlog.x
soundmessages.x

I have crash logs for 1 or 2 other crashes ready to send. But no ailog there either .

I've played this great mod about 50 games now. My only problem is that the game crashes about 60% of all games.

It's close to unenjoyable because of all of the crashes. Usually the game crashes at the same time for both me and my partner in the multiplayer game.


Answers to questions:

*What map were you playing?
This time, Rails and Metal (4)

*Which factions were involved?
Britain, Sovjet, Osheer, Wermacht.

*What were you doing when the crash occurred?
I was building on an oil resource. Co-player Attacked with infantery.

*Do the crashes happen during every or almost every game?
Happens approx 60% of all games.

*What game mode were you playing?
Annihilation.

EF version 2.3.0.0
COH 2.700.2.42
Windows 10 64 bit
