Then it's not a good idea to add Steam version replays here. Need to wait the official patch. You can erase the post.
But anyone who is in my Steam list can watch the games live on steam beta broadcast. It works perfect. 3

What does a typical Kursk game promise? Epic Tank battles. This particular game didn't fail to give what we've expected .
Pretty balanced game in terms of pressure and pushing on each side, all super tanks on the field, endurance, multiple come backs. enjoy. 5

Floki, after I read your goodbye drama post for an instant I thought that you were the founder of this mod, head promoter or something but wait- you have just 31 posts lol. It's good that you have realized at the end that this mod doesn't depend on you or someone else in particular. So fairwell

Well the question is; Who is offended? Why is he offended?
Anyway, I take your statement as "Ok, ok you pointed out those failures so clearly that which is not fixed for a long time and seemed ok for us, all true but it's hard to accept in public so make it more "soft and nice" so I'll not be offended as being a part of this work". All fair to me. Just I don't understand how can I be offensive when I say "teching is problematic, early-mid game broken". You don't have to answer that btw. It's a rhetoric question. 7

How many times you, Darc, Ape said "We need replays!!" ? How many? You asked, I give.
I don't care what you doing in the internal. We are discussing here the current one which most of you defend stubbornly. I can't talk about the internal process which I don't have any access like many people here. This is the product which is available at the moment and this is the gameplay we tell that broken for a long. I can't be more constructive. "Something is not right", "there's a problem but I don't know what it is" is not my way. I say things specifically like some other good players. Being silent is not constructive. If you can't see this, than don't bother to reply me. If you need a constant playerbase, then listen everything carefully and be "constructive" to cooperate for a better gameplay to lure more players. Btw, fyi : BUT our problem is that no one is playing EF in MP games. All the balance stuff is done by a small group of devs. 9
Eastern Front Replays / Riggs vs EFZenith ( Tom )« on: December 06, 2013, 02:31:04 PM »
OK, this time I played Ostheer, sticking one side- imho the safer left side on Langres, when I had my first AT unit maybe even before, Zenith had 2 T34s and a Kv1
) Rest is just misery. I had half of the map, good income but early-mid game is so broken, teching is over problematic, this is what you gonna see in a mid-mid plus level game when Ost faces Soviets

Eastern Front Replays / Re: Riggs vs Killar« on: December 06, 2013, 10:14:26 AM »
I guess the main issue is; Ostheer needs more combined arms to deal with Soviets, while Soviets can simply pump same types of infantry much cheaper and without so much upkeep issue. And in order to get those combined arms, Ost simply needs fuel and fuel to unlock this and that all the time. SU is more Muni/ Manpower based army, they build their buildings quicker, get cheaper units with muni upgd smgs, rifles, at rifles etc and game flow is much better than Ost at the moment.
There's a way to stop or let's say, slow down or control SU which is in my opinion, play the Ostheer like Wehrmacht- simply sticking one side with fuel and muni income and defend it until you get proper AT. If you spread early game, you'll fail and face t34s very quickly even without a PAK. On the other hand, Ost needs vet by fighting and Wehrmacht is superior with this strat because of their purchased vet. So it's not offensive as it seems but like this you may have a chance to win but needs really high focus, min. mistakes and patience. However, this will make every game frustrating like you play vs PE as USA. I actually wanna hear what Johnny says, he has some nice angles about this game too. Killar as well. 11

Eastern Front Replays / Riggs vs Killar« on: December 05, 2013, 10:15:41 PM »
We just played a game on Langres and you may see all the issues we talked about in this particular game.
As SU i had the upper hand from the beginning, with Prop doc I had all those Cons upgd Smgs, pushing Landsers easily, getting very quick Armor on the field while he had to tech to Pak with 3 buildings plus 2 extra upgrades. I had enormous amount of Artillery options; non doctrinal SU76 barrage, Observer Arty, Heavy Mortar plus Howitzer and Gow. I didn't even bother to get Katyushas. Foxholes are like joke, Straffniye can kill units inside without even Molotov, Elephant comes too late and doesn't make so much change. With sprint i can simply pass the Ost mines and have no damage. Etc etc. I had another game before this vs Tom ( ZenithEF) and I was OSt that time, the game was exactly same like this one, simply a downfall. Anyway, you ask replays here you are. P.S : Replay file updated, first one was wrong. 13
Ostheer Suggestions / Re: My take on simplifying the OH and increasing play fluidity.« on: December 05, 2013, 08:34:01 PM »
But my question is not Counter sniping. Ofc you can countersnipe if you wait, halt and shoot the other but my issue is the impact of the sniper in the game. Ost sniper can't deal much damage because of powerful cons spam with quick smg upgrades, instant sprint with CS while Landsers doesnt even have automatic weapons. Sniper has to make MP damage, it's hard inf counter but now it can't. Sniper is not only abusive unit as it's defined by some but it's a type of teching and force teching unit as well. It's a stone in your shoe. Besides that fact, the current sniper cant shoot and run back uncloaked untill vet2 and Ost sniper needs more kills than SU sniper because of low xp gain from Cons. Anyway, it's still an issue in my book.

Well I just checked OSt sniper, he can't. Uncloak button is inactive, if you know any other trick tell me.

USA sniper was simply useless because of cloak mechanics while Chinese one was simply Vanilla sniper. |
