Balance Discussion / PTRD, PTRS- ultimate heavy tanks destroyers

I play mostly with AI, but it is very frustrating when amassed AT rifles destroy heavy tanks like Tiger, Panther, etc. from the front when they have quarter of health- it seems that their deflection damage is very high. Maybe it's gameplay wise, so they stay useful late-game, but from real world view it just looks awkward. Or it is just me and specific beauty of playing against Expert SU with whole army of these things?

General Discussion / Short "Elefant"

Hi,

The Elefant tank destroyer model in EF seems to be reduced in size compared to other tanks- it's strange, because in previous patch it was bigger than it is now. Refering to the attached screenshot- Elefant stood almost 3m tall, while PanzerIV- 2,68m.

Hello,

When playing against Soviet AI I have noticed that they are furiously attacking barbed wire and sandbags with their weapons, despite the fact that it won't work- usually they are calling more units to help them with this task, making themselves a nice mortar barrage target.

BTW, is AI fatal error bug when Greyhounds and Staghounds are under AT attack fixed?

Hello,

I wonder why skirmish commander lacks weapon slots. He has to gain experience to become useful later, and his KCH bodyguards with rifles cannot earn enough XP for him. The ability to pick up eg. MG42 or Panzerschreck would increase his combat capabilities, especially when SU command squad has a weapon upgrade AND free weapon slots.

Hi,

The range of fire for AI leIG is greater than that used by human players. I've read that there'll be some changes in that unit but that is odd, not to mention other problems with that unit that have been adressed somewhere else (poor accuracy- maybe it wasn't better before, but the bigger AOE made it less of a problem). Hope that it helps a little ;)

Another bug occured to me today when playing as SU- after loading my savegame an upgraded with PTRS strelky squad lost them- they had nothing in their hands and couldn't fire them at all- i had to use them as a... minesweeper suicide squad ;)

Also after loading a game I couldn't reclaim any Beutepanzers with my Famo (Shermans and T34/76), but I will try to check this out again.
My mistake, I apologize- I forgot that it requires fuel to use that ability.

Hi,

I've recently noticed when playing with AI brit that when they build bofors emplacement sometimes it swaps its model with... panzernest. Not always, but often. Also:

- sometimes when Concrete Emplacement is occupied with MG34 team (defensive) when using its ability to pin down units, medical upgrade is used.
- Ostheer sniper has no ability to move out of camouflage before vet 2, he has to shoot something to do that, although it might have been done on purpose.

I've noticed that Nashorn cannot be revived by Bergetiger. I've tried doing it from different angles, but the ability didn't worked.

Hi,

I've noticed recently that SU-100 deals tremendous damage against base buildings- 3 of them can destroy it whole in mere seconds, and taking into consideration their resistance to Panzerschrecks due to upgrade it puts enemy into world of hurt.

Hi, I've noticed in the recent version of the EF that when infantry enters Ostheer bunker that is being repaired it makes it instantly repaired to 100%.

Hi,

I have recently noticed that sometimes I can reinforce Tank Hunters squad with additional, 5th man- and normally squad consists of 4 men. I also noticed that with mortar teams and ZiS cannons- although these were upgraded, so I don't know whether it was intentional or not.
