Strategy and Tactics for Ostheer / Need help with the ostheer.

I can't wrap my head around the ostheer and a solid tactic against soviets.  In my hands, the ostheer is underperforming in all stages of the battle, I am always having a hard time dealing with masses of Soviet infantry, AT guns, light tanks and lastly - cheep medium tanks.
My own PAK's are getting hammered by heavy mortars and/or arty - and that mortar is defended by all kinds of man eating and panzer bending machinery.  A solid steel wall more or less. If I could just mach the numbers I think it would be a smooth ride, but the truth is, I am constantly stretched out on my units, always in need of ekstra firepower,  tanks and fuel. The price on panzer seems to be so high that I can't really get a solid armoured section up and running - and they are always needed somewhere, so I can't sit back and wait to build a bunch and then roll them all out at once.
I am also very careful with my vehicles so I don't really take any chances. Most of the time, I have them placed behind the front and they are reduced to QRF,  and occasionally doing some hit and run in enemy territory .

It is really frustrating for me. Normally I can easily take on an AI on hard with all other armies and put up a fight in MP,  but with ostheer I may even lose out to a normal soviet AI. 

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I think I have tried out every tactic I can possible imagine. I feel like the ostheer is missing something, something is wrong but I can't really place my finger on it.
Please share some wisdom with me, I need it.

Edit: oh, and I have tried out the fortress doctrine many times, mainly to get the mg and PAK emplacements,  but I can't put them to any use. I want defences to halt enemy advances, but I feel like the MG's angle of fire is too narrow, and the PAK can't put up with any thing other than jeeps and trucks.

Bugs & Tech Support / T-34 crossing footbridge.

I was playing a 1v1 game against AI (Lyon) the other day. While I was securing the objectives and resources isolated on that little "island" part of the map - only accessible for infantry - suddenly a T-34 came rolling up towards the footbridge. I thought it would stop, maybe halt for a minute or two, but noooo. With out the slightest care in the world it arrogantly came creeping up the footbridge, slightly tilted to the side - like it was driving on one belt just to show off. It came across, guns blazing, with this arrogant stupid attitude and blasted my poor landsers to bits and pieces.
I found my self in a state of shock and disbelief, the commander of that particular 34 must be som kind of Soviet Workers Hero. When he was finally done with raising hell, he strolled back the same smart ass way he came. I swear Icould hear the tank crew laugh all the way back across.
Disoriented as I was, I never saved any replay of the game, or the moment of Soviet tank glory.
What dehh hell is going on!?

Suggestions / Counter sniping mode.

Would the devs consider a "Counter Sniper Mode" for RU and OH snipers?
I imagine it would be somewhat equivalent  to the arty counter function.
While this mode is active, the sniper will only engage enemy snipers when they break cover (like shooting).

Balance Discussion / Panzernest - too limited angle of fire.

After playing a good game last night I noticed how narrow the Panzernests fire corridor is. I do appreciate the nerf it got with the latest patch, but the very limited angle of fire it now has makes it almost useless for defending and keeping a certain area under fire. I would expect it to be something like and ordinary MG implacement.

Bugs & Tech Support / Command delay.

After the mod came back into play with the new fixes, I have experienced a few times that suddenly I suffer a huge delay when commanding troops. When I issue and order, many seconds will pass before the selected troops will start executing the order. It's a major game breaker, it also happens when I use retreat, turning direction of crewed weapons etc. Only thing to do is relaunch the match. So far I only recall it happening while playing online (not 100% sure).
Any others with the same issue??

Hello guys. I've just posted a topic in the greenlight forum on steam, but I figured there was probably better respons in here.

New CoH update bugs my game.
I've just downloadet a CoH update for the vanilla game, and now I can't choose any of the EF factions.
Is any one having the same issue?

Edit: Well, as it turns out, I can't play EF at all, not even with the vanilla factions. The buildings looks weird and I can't move or order my pio squads to do any thing.
