I remember automatch working in past, I also remember being able to play USA vs USSR in 1 on 1 automatch. Any plans on bringing this back?

There are 0 players online in the last 4-5 days since I restarted playing this. Its a shame because plenty of people still play coh1.

Suggestions / It would be cool if Soviets dropped small arms.

I haven't seen it so I assume it not in the game but it would be great if I could pick up some of the awesome Soviet arms for the Axis players. Its not fair that conscripts can pick up the lmg42 but I can't pick up an antitank rifle or a PPHs.

For High Resources Annihilate team games (2vs2and up) games?

Wehrmacht against Soviet
Panzer Elite against Soviet
British Marines vs both axis
Soviet against Wehrmacht

Just looking for peoples opinions to see if I can improve my opening sequences.

Normally as Wehrmacht vs Soviets I go MG, MG, Sniper, Volks, MG, then onto t2 where I normally build 2 mortars then at gun or vice versa.

I need some pointers for scorched earth vs Soviets as Ive been using a mix of Luftwaffe and Antitank but I think scorched earth might be the way to go. I can't find 1 great start as Panzer Elite I can get good starts but I never end up being able to hold as much ground as Wehrmacht because I have to keep more troops together for them to be effective.

My biggest question with the Marines is do I go Comet or Firefly? Is one more cost effective? Comet seems to strug of shells but it seemed like my friends are having better luck with Fireflys, do Fireflys have longer firing range?

As Soviets I have been going 2 engins, command squad, and then 1 more engins, barracks with first engin and then 3 conscripts, final engin builds weapon support and I normally go for mortars first.

My Tiger 1 rarely penetrated from the front. I played an American who spammed these along with AT guns for support I had trouble dealing with them even with level 3 Tiger + stug and stuhs. I dont think it reasonable for an artillery tank to basically have strong enough armor to shrug off 88mm shells.
