Off Topic / Favorite Game/Developers

I've been playing a multitude of games on my winter break and I've been thinking about the developers and which developers make the best game.

So i'd like to know your favorites. Please don't take into account corporations such as, EA, Activision etc. as they don't make games just publish them. Also please explain the reasons for why you enjoy them.

My List:
Ubisoft: Assassins Creed Series, Farcry Series, Every Tom Clancy Game, World in Conflict and ZombiU
Bethesda: Fallout 3 and Elder Scrolls Series and great taste in publishing games(i know i said to stay away from publishers but they published a large variety of good games such as, Dishonored, RAGE and so on.
DICE:Battlefield series(It blows Call of Duty out of the water in every way) New Medal of Honors(all the old MoH's were my childhood)
Relic: Company of Heroes 1 & 2, Warhammer 40k Space Marine, Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 1 & 2.
The Creative Assembly: Total War Series and they are working on a Warhammer Fantasy game that sounds promising 
Rockstar: Grand Theft Auto, Max Payne, L.A. Noire, Red Dead Redemption.
Torn Banner Studios:As of now they only have Chivalry: Medieval Warfare but its great and i hope they continue there game making

Suggestions / No Mortars/Less

Alright i've enjoy playing vs the AI and i want to play with the soviets but when i play the against wehrmacht they seem to spam mortars now and its really pissing me off to no end because mortars are pure bullshit(I know they are useful and an asset to war i just F*cking hate them in CoH) So if you could make it so they make less mortars that would be great because i cant even set up a defense position without getting destroyed by mortars

Hey i was wondering if anyone had a guest pass for killing floor on Steam. If you bought the game please check your steam inventory to see if you have one.

I want to try the game before buying it, i can also give you a guest pass for Red Orchestra 2 of you want because i have 3 of those.

General Discussion / Tiger kills 2 T-70s with one shot

So i was playing against the AI on Leningrad as the Wehrmacht. The Russian armor was hitting us hard and it was hard to push up. Then coming from the depths of hell a Vet 3 Tiger comes and saves the day.

That was my story  anyway there were 2 T-70s lined up and the Tiger shot a single shell killing both(i know because when both exploded)

I just wanted to know if its suppose to be able to do that or if that's not suppose to happen. If anyone can point me to a free screen recorder i can shoe the proof.

I want to know how torrenting things work. I here people do it all the time and my friends do it, but i'm more safe about my computer and don't want viruses. Because i want LOTR battle for middle earth 2 for PC without paying 60 or more for it because its expensive. So if you could just tell me all about it it would be nice THANKS

Off Topic / What if... Campaign map for CoH

Imagine a "Control the World" Mode in CoH. Where you have a campaign map and you move around taking control of the World like Total War but when it gets down to battle it's just like CoH. I think this would be pretty cool and i know some of you stuffy people will just be like "This is dumb American, England and Russia didn't want world control" or some other troll bull crap but just think about it...

Hey guys not sure if you've heard of this mod or not but it's a lot of fun. I really think you should try it out it's pretty simplistic.

Also i don't know if we could help this guy out at all because i think it's only him working on it. He is trying to make a new mod called "Battle of Norway" and he told me he needs some help with mapping. So if anyone could help him out because this truly is a good mod and he deserves some help.

Well that's all i have to say other than Try this mod!!!

Balance Discussion / v1.7.0.2 T34/76 loses to Stug IV

Hey i was playing a Skirmish and my T34's where being destroyed by Stugs. It was a 1v1 fight so it's not like they had more tanks. I'm not sure if its suppose to be better but i lost like 3 tanks and i couldn't do much(because pumas killed my ZiS's) So i didn't know if its suppose to be that way or not, Just wondering.

So i have been trying to play Shogun 2 and i always seem to get crushed... I could beat Rome and Medieval 2 just fine but i can't get the hang of this one and i'm playing on easy. If someone could guide me that would be nice. Like i never have money and my food never leaves "1" even though i upgraded it and owned 2 provinces... So if you could guide me that'd be great

Well in this me and GLD kind of mess around, Well i know i did, i'm not to sure on his part but i know he didn't go all out because he would have crushed me.

I think this is a really funny match, There a lot of Vehicular Manslaughter.

Most games are on sale, some have great deals and some others just have small discounts but still. There is also "Flash Sales" that happen throughout the sale. The Flash Sales are really good deals.

Bugs & Tech Support / Won't let me play

Well i was going to play some CoH with the new patch and all. but this happened and i can't close it because it isn't running anywhere and i can't get rid of the launcher cause when i try to put it in the trash it says that its running and it clearly isn't.

This happened to me before the patch too. Please help

Eastern Front / Is Othseer real? (I'm an idiot)

Hello, I've heard about you making them as the new team and CoH 2 will feature them but i looked it up on the internet to learn about them(Never of heard of them before CoH) and the only stuff that pops up is Eastern Front mod pages about it and i was wondering was it a group like the Wehrmacht or is it like meaning something specific in German? Sorry i know more about Western Front WW2(more interesting  to me that Eastern Front).

Tech Support / Help me please!!! Fallout NV keeps crashing!

Hey guys i got Fallout NV yesterday and i really want to play it but it keeps crashing and i have no idea why i've been looking online for like ever and can't seem to find that works on fixing it and since you guys are like modders you might know how to help me. Also sorry for all the way OFF-topic stuff its just that the EF community is so helpful. Last problem i had i took hours trying to get a way to fix it. Then i come here and i get it fixed instantly anyways
