The CS is definitely worth the 350 manpower, espeacially in the USSR early game, where there are few good unit. It also scale well.

Try this. Don't cap at all with your CS and send them to the most likely place to be combat right away. If both you and your opponent lose an equal amount of men, you are winning because you are getting closer to the super important vet 1.

I am pretty sure that the EF devs changed thecost after they had read the first change log for the beta and not the other way around.
Also I think that all Churchills will be better vs. infantry in 2.602 and thus in EF 1.4 aswell.

Barrage doesn't have to increase RoF or accuracy. I believe the US mortar is actually less accurate while barraging (at least until the retail patch is out). I see no problem with giving the 120mm a barrage ability that doesn't improve its stats, just gives you a range indicator and a temp force target. The problem with current attack ground is that it is indefinite.

I know that the mortar 1.0 was stupidly OP (maybe the most OP unit in all of EF history with says a lot.) So somekind of nerf was needed.  But this chance is just strange and did little to nerf them. Since they have been nerfed in other and better ways, I think that the time is ready to revert this change.

I think this map has way to much fuel on it. At hte time I would go tier two I had enough fuel to go tier three and when I was about to go tier three I had enough fuel to go tier 4. This meant that the game ended in tank spam very fast and leaves PE in a very weak position, because They don't have any late game units that benifit from double fuel income.

Just a suggestion
Set the Accuracy Increment Modifier for all ostheer infantry to 1.03 instead of 1.00 and compensate by lowering their accuracy with about 10%.

It will make it easier to hit someone, if all the infantry are close together and it would therefore work as a natural counter to blobing. It also make sense that it is easier to hit someone if you shoot against a large group of people. This stat is already in the weapon table, so it wouldn't be to much work to implement this.

It was very weird, I think that was the reason I thourgh it was fun.
The steaky killed infantry in 1-2 second. Volks with mp40 killed a lot faster as well. I kind of stopped building infantry even thourgh I had vet 3 because they died so fast.

No it is not a good point.
After the 1 vs 1 tournament most people agree that the sniper needed a hp nerf. the devs said they were working on it, so every time someone brought it up the respons was "the devs are working on it." After 1.3 it is clear that they tried to fix it the wrong way. So the problenm still remains, thus Chancellor brings it up again.

Anyhow, I think theres a problem where if you attack click on the sniper squad, Konig doesn't automatically shoot the sniper instead of the spotter, its more like a 50 50 chance or something
It is not a 50% change. If you press the guy with the helm you kill the sniper and if you press the guy without the helm you do not kill the sniper. The same is true for all other factions. If you press the US sniper he will die, but if you press on a rifleman the rifleman will die. You can place your US sniper in between riflemen to make him harder to kill, but if you are skilled enough to press the right guy, it wouldn't help. I like that my sniper shoot the guy I press on.

Does anyone know why Russian infantry and the shapshooter team gets airborn armour at vet 1? I have not seen anyone ever sugesting this change? Can someone please inform me about the rational behind this cahnge?

Three months ago many people (including myself) agreed that the sharpshotter team needed to have less hp. I think this would have been a better solution than what we saw in 1.3. Althourgh the change to sniper armor, as Paciat suggest might have worked as well.
Many people belived this was a big balance problem in 1.23 and I can understand why Chancellor points out that this hasn't been fixed in the 1.3

They changed the command squad vet because people complained about, the global part of the Command Squad vet didn't  have enough of an impact on the game. I belive this argument was flawed becuase it didn't take into accound, how important it is to unluck the commanders special abilities. (In 1.2 he was one of the most important unit to get vet on.) But I never responede to the post. :(
