As I type this, I'm making plans to extend and expand Achelous River if this is more to your favour. The way things look, it will contain upwards of sixteen bridges, and five "layers" of islands, rather than the traditional three. This won't be released as part of the mod, but keep an eye out on the mapping section.

Well the thing is i never play against humans cause then i cant play the game how i want, i would always have to play the game how the others play it.

You can decide how the game is played yourself. Even against human players.
You just need to be very aggressive at the very beginning then so you can chose what to do.

I've played games where I had 3/4 of the map capped after 5 min?

If I would like to, I could dig in then and let the enemy try to hit me, but I just hate playing it like this..
Prefer the early game with allot of action and aggression.
Prefer to retreat, heal up and push back instead of digging in and holding my ground constantly.

so at least the first games should be played today @ 5pm GTM

And thats why I didn't join up for the games..
Would have loved to join for the tournament but as I have to work late every week day I've decided not to compete.
Would have been to difficult to arrange the matches..
I'm usually only online at home between 7 and 11 PM GMT..

Maybe next time I'll be able to join.

I'm up for a game now and then.

I just think its easier to communicate, ask for a match when using a different channel then coh itself to arrange matches.
Also planning a game days before it actually takes place is difficult because there are so many things that can get between it..

Thats why compstomping or just playing with friends is a better solution..

I would suggest, share some other contact details and ask around when you want a game.
I'm sure someone will be up for it ;)

When I'm at home and up for a game, I'm always on skype.

last weekend there was a 50% deal on origin (europe) were i was able to preorder coh2 for only 25 euro
but afaik this works like a normal shop so i will probably get also just a key from origin to activate in steam and download it there

origin is just the same as steam, just from a different company. so it works exactly the same. you'll need to download it from them and use there program (origin) to start the game

The T90 is one of the best units on the Soviet side. Make sure you halt them when they fire. They have poor moving accuracy modifiers.


It was halted, but it might be possible (didn't really pay that much attention since it was a friend of me playing russian on that map and having troubles with the T90) that the enemy infantry was in green cover.

The T90 was standing still at about 3-5 meter from the enemy volks  and just couldn't seem to hit them.

Would send over a replay of the match but didn't record it sadly enough.

well yeah the IL-2 are alot more powerfull now then they where before if you ask me.
They just do there damage differently. They are now concentrated vs infantry. Not armor.
Thats also how I prefer it to be as you can already call in plenty of at tanks.

Its just.. well I've seen GOW ruin maps already alot of times.
That said.. those time where indeed on bridge maps.. like Hoch..
I prefer to play open maps any time, but some of the players I play with prefer the bridge maps and comp stomping..

I just wanted to let you guys know what I thought about it, but I'm not saying it has to be changed.
Just wanted you guys to think about it for a while and as you are so I'm glad.

hello,

First of all great work with the latest version of EF.

Just got a bit of a problem with the sturmovics costing 250 munitions while God of war only costs 200 munitions while god of war is so much more powerfull then the sturmovics..
I think the munitions cost of these 2 call ins should be atleast the same, maybe even the sturmovics only 200 and god of war 250..
But yeah thats only a small problem with it.

Also I noticed the T90's damage output has been lowered significantly.
In a match 1 hour - 2 hours ago it had troubles even taken down infantry..
I think the problem is accuracy of the gun. it just doesn't seem to hit the infantry.
If you ask me, the T90's should do something like the same damage and have the same accuracy as the bren gun carrier upgraded without using ap rounds.

Just my insight of the mod atm.

Again very good job and great support.

here's the reply.

I'm sure none of them was killed before landing, they just drop short one unit.
I don't believe anything could shoot all the way across the map and make a 1shot kill...

Don't mind the noobish gameplay. was just trying to get as many para's out as possible and wasn't trying to push in myself..

As I was unable to find any working screen record software I've just taken a screenshot of the a paraunit I just called in, still in mid air, but already with only 5 men.

The dropzone is in my own base, no buildings or any other solid stuff in the neighbourhood..

I called in as many para's as I could get every time in that same area.
From the 18 drops, 4 only had 5 men.

So as you can see, this is a rare glitch, but still its a glitch.
Just wanted to point this thing out, but don't think it needs to get any priority.
Its something that should only be tried to fix if there's some spair time. It can't hinder the bigger, more important development of the mod such as the ostheer.

I've got a replay of a game where I tested it and 4 out of 14 airborne units called in had only 5 men instead of 6.
I'm now trying to get it on line somehow. Anyone got a good way of doing this?

I won't be on-line tonight so the replay will only be on-line somewhere tomorrow evening.
