because server is busy. It worked for me this morning.
If you dont want to wait you can play by unticking the autoupdate button in your launcher settings. Then restart the launcher. If you want to update you have to click "update" manually.

My third attempt proved to be effective. Thanks!

It seems to me that the EF Launcher does not manage to connect to the EF server.

I do not see any link for this second hotfix, neither here nor on ModDB. Will it be released later?
