My launcher appears to have skipped straight from 1.1.1.1 to 1.2.1.

262's are fun, but the ground-attack role is already overused in EF.  As for air to air, the argument for that is in the other thread.

But the number is so low that i think this plane WONT REPRESENT THE HOLE EASTERN FRONT.

Just like a dozen other units and abilities that already exist in this game.  Let it go.

Everyone aims, it's not a variable you have to consider.  The effective rate of fire from a Garand is greater than that a Kar or Enfield.

My point is that they keep them all firing at a similar speed because it keeps things balanced.

4
If they're going for a guaranteed kill, they'll actually fire far slower than they do in-game.

However, in frenzied battle situations (rather than a stalk/ambush situation) they can fire quite a bit faster.  They're just less accurate and won't be aiming for the head.

COH times shots for balance, not realism.  Notice how slowly Garands fire.

OH!!

MY!!!

GOD?

Calm down, type like a rational and mature person, and stop whining.  There is a reason no one wants to help you.

The official ROA consisted of a couple divisions of pro-democracy fighters under Russian commanders that fought briefly against the Sovs before defecting and fighting briefly against the Germans.

Nazi propaganda at the time (and subsequent Soviet propaganda) referred to all Soviets fighting for the Germans as part of the ROA, years before such an organization even existed and regardless of ideology.

I think a better name would have to be found to specifically refer to the many Russian defectors, POWs, etc, that fought under German command against the Russians.  Calling them ROA gets confusing, because the ROA is probably most famous for fighting against the Germans in the Prague Uprising.

Panther for IS-2 was "baby, come to papa :)". Did You ever read IS-2 main gun test? ;)

...no.  The effectiveness of the IS2 against tanks depends on who you ask... the people who built it or the people who got shot by it.

"German Army data on the penetration ranges of the 122 mm A-19 gun against the Panther tank showed it to be much less effective than the Soviets thought: the A-19 gun was unable to penetrate the glacis plate of the Panther at any distance, and could only penetrate the bottom front plate of the hull at 100 m."

The IS2 had more armor and was more effective against infantry with it's slow-projectile heavy gun.

The Panther had better speed and better AT capabilities with it's high velocity cannon.

the Americans aren't not a nation (нация), but the people/folk (народ). Because they do not have their own language, culture and so on.

In political science a "nation" is a people, a "country" is a land, a "state" is people + land.

Nationalism is regarded as a more extreme form of patriotism.

Additionally, you'll find many people telling you to go f&^& yourself for the "America has no culture" line.  Especially given that the entire world listens to American music, watches American movies, wears American clothes.  Do some research on the melting pot concept.  I'm not sure what they've taught you over there, but it's far more than just a 'citizenship.'

Finland had a more skilled army then Japan.. And they're not in the game (yet), how do you expect the Japanese to stand up against Russia?

In the entire war, out of every battle fought, the only country that embaressed Russia, that shocked them, that ripped them apart.. Was Finland..

Only country that embarrassed Russia?  You've clearly never heard of the Russo-Japanese war.

Oh such bliss,

So let me get this straight, you put Stalin on the same commanding level as Hitler?

Hell, Stalin didn't even trust half of his gens, thus why it took so long for them to react to the german offensive after the non-aggression pact.

Huh?  I put down 3 names, Stalin and Hitler were not among them.  I stated that I put Zhukov slightly lower than Guderian.  Such bliss.

If you'd like to discuss it though, my take: Stalin was probably a better military leader.  From Kursk to Stalingrad to Normandy and North Africa Hitler did everything conceivable to hinder his commanders.  After the initial purges wrecked his army, Stalin did find a few good people he trusted who were allowed to argue with him- and he took advice.

I've enjoyed every version so far.  ;D

Splendid work for a modding community- even more splendid support and patching.

Monty was an incompetent glory-seeking pansy (screwed up everything but Africa).  Patton was a blood-thirsty glory-seeking idiot.  Neither were particularly impressive and are remembered in the west due to a lack of options.

The Germans had the best Generals, followed by the Sovs.  Rommel, Guderian, Zhukov.
