Well, it looks like my time here is over.  I thought it would be fitting to have my final post on this topic, seeing as what it has turned into.

But with all seriousness, I will miss this forum and its interesting members.  I hope you will all still be here when I return, so that I may destroy you in the field of battle, deep within the heart of Russia.

Ooh-Rah!

Problem would be to make thus squads with different
members :( ALL-Dog squads might be ok?

Many squads have different members already.

Rifleman: Radio Guy
PE Tankbusters/Assault : One guy has black gloves
British scout squad: one guy has Scoped Lee Enfield
Command squad: one guy is Major Ivan Danko

I don't think that making members different would be a problem, just making one of the members a dog would be taking it to the next level.

AT dogs worked about as well as replacing Navy SEALS with actual seals.

I'm an adult.

Andy Samberg Threw It On The Ground

Ahh, sorry that's just the first thing that came to mind.

There is no reason to be judging people on how much they post.  I myself am fairly new to this and have acted similarly to Bigpop.  Yet I receive no such hate.  Everybody take a chill pill.  Watch the funny video and wait for the release on the 21st.  Hell I'm not even gonna be here then and yet I do not complain about the forums.

BTW, the recent news is that the IS-2 may be capped or nerfed a bit to alleviate this fear.

Yeah, I'll drink to that.

To peace.  To Russia.  To this mod.

Let us play war so most of us don't have to.

You see the difference here is that the Marine Corps cannot afford any TNT.  All the funding was already spent on expensive things that don't work, like officers.

We know now how horrible it would have been for all of Europe but at the time, without all the post war studying, we would have done it.  There is no doubt in my mind.

We did not know about the adverse effects that nuclear weapons had on the surrounding area at that time. ( aka fallout)  Most of the scientists on the Project wanted to nuke Germany because many of them were Jewish.  In fact a petition was made by some to not nuke Japan because they felt that only Germany deserved such a devastating weapon.

Yes, Truman would have dropped the bomb.

That alone would have been a deterrent but on top of that since we fight in the European fashions we also show the same respect and honor that European etiquette suggests.

Oh yeah, etiquette went out the window when they killed 6 million Jews.  Just a reminder that the Holocaust happened, and we knew about it in 1942.

So things like sending pioneers and MG teams at Machine Guns in buildings unsupported will stop.  This is good.  An AI that plays chess by using the pieces the right way instead of one that just sends more pieces.

While what you say is true, I think that without Russia the Allies still had a fighting chance.

The invasion of France and perhaps that of Italy would not have happened until much later without the Russians help.  Because of these delays we might have not ever even invaded!

With the Manhattan project being unaffected by the wars progress, working Nuclear weapons would have still been procured by July 16, 1945.( The date of the trinity test.)

Without nukes we may have lost, but with them all of Berlin would be radioactive dust along with Hitler's bones.

Oh man, too many choices. May I have a regular Panther so as to not research the different versions of it? I'm from America, just give me a Panzer # 5 with burger and fries. No, I do not want to supersize it, I'm fat enough.

But seriously, I would really like a P-1000 Ratte or P-1500 Monster in the game. Did you read about the projected land speed this thing would have had? HAHA!

While your comment about getting a McPanzer is amusing, your other commments about the German super tanks shows off a disturbing stereotype about Americans.

Don't worry fellas not all Americans are fat idiots.  It's just that too many are.

I voted 'no'. I am a moderator, so therefore by deafult, I am a party pooper  :-X

Don't take it personal ;)

Don't worry, I've long ago stopped caring when people poop at, on or near my parties.
Oh the stories I could tell...

So each level of the new AI is still called the same thing but is now significantly better?  So if before a Hard AI was reasonable to play against then now it will be truly hard and a Normal AI will be what was once considered Hard?

And because nobody used the normal Easy setting there would be no problems.

Or have I misinterpreted you once again?

Wow, I am surprised at the positive feedback I am getting!

More details to answer various questions.

boot camp is 12 weeks long he can play when he gets out of basic  your schooling depends on what your taking but u can use lap top  while in school.

It is 13 weeks now, but that is not a big deal.  Also the thing about the laptop is usually true, just not always.

I'd wait and play it when you get back. That way it will have a few bug fixes, balance changes and updates under its belt and you'll be getting a kickass first-experience. If you get it now there will be a big question mark regarding the mod's presentation which might even turn you off.

Actually, I'd just screw the corps and come to Canada. That way you can play the mod on release day.

I would agree, but I am not a patient man.  Everybody else at boot is worrying about the DIs while I think only of missing the EF mod.  Also, the Marines are volunteer only, running away would be kinda silly as I was not drafted.

Furthermore, it would seem that several of you have the wrong idea as to what I am doing.  Even though it will hurt my cause I must be honest.

I am not going to be killed at boot camp.

My specific MOS will have me training for up to a year or more.  I will not be put into a position to die before I play EF.  I am just so darned excited that I don't want to wait 1/4 of a year because I miss the release by two days.
