first question i have is about the map stalingrad, i have found this map harder than any other map i have played and am wondering is there something done to the map to make it harder than intended, or is it just a bug?

Stalingrad map was released with the patch by accident.
:o Woah, thats not what i expected.

Against an AI that's not a map issue.

Stalingrad is a huge map. Takes troops a long time to seek each other out. In PvP while I'm not a fan of the map I wouldn't say it's easier or harder than any other map that we play. Vehicle pathing is a bit odd but it's ok
thank you for this data, maybe i just need to practice more

Conscripts dont get the luxury of riding tanks :P. Only Comminsars :P.

Also I think it does weird things to balance :P. SU isn't supposed to have transports. They gotta walk :D
i belive regulars were allowed not conscripts though

Suggestions / Re: Buildings

No, it wasn't touched until 1961 when it was only partially refurbished to make it structurally sound... otherwise, they were going to have to knock it down. During WW2 the Reichstag was a complete mess; there wasn't much use for it during Nazi reign as they had essentially relinquished Parliament of all it's power, and on top of the fire in 1933 it was also hit by a British bomb in 1940. Really, there's not much point spending money on refurbishing a useless old building that's only going to get damaged in air raids, seems a little counter productive.
never knew about the bomb.

IMO the time it takes to build a sniper is too short. Once it come out of your barracks (or w/e that building is called) you'll have around 150mp. As the sniper walks to the front line it can simply upgrade, meaning that SU can deploy thier snipers faster. And if the sniper is walking towards the front lines and suddenly dies, youonly lose 140 mp and not as much time. If it were US or Wher, you'd lose like 340 mp and alot of building time.
true, now any thing on stalingrad.

^ from personal experience, i can say that they both perform similarly at range

If they have the same range then why wasn't a scope placed on a M1 Garand ???. Its semi auto which is neat and instead of loading it bullet by bullet, you stick a clip in there. And I read that US snipers really disliked the M1903 sniper variant and often used the enemies :P
it was used in the pacific. IIRC

The sharpshooter is the way it is so you can choose which way you want to specialise him. He can become a Sniper like the other factions' at the same cost, or the Spotter team. Soviets have a lot of units already and since the units are built on the same base unit, it makes sense to combine them into the branched upgrade.
thank you for that data.

second question is why does the sniper have to be upgraded to act like any other sniper?
