To be honest, the jumbo replacing the normal Sherman sounds a bit ridiculous. Since it's already hard enough to kill them, especially when they get the 76mm gun. And I think the Calliope doubling as a conventional tank again would be too much.

I don't see the point for riflemen to get Stens honestly, I'd say they're for as they are. SAS raiders are supposed to be Stormtroopers for RMC, the sniper rifle would be weird for them.

It's already been said, the soviets are likely NEVER going to get a mobile MG unit. As it doesn't fit their gameplay style.

And I think giving the Tigers ALL the long range shot would be too much.

And last I checked, the Luftwaffe were likely going to get an Elefant tank to replace their 88s.

But again, I use that a LOT. Mainly with Stug spam. Since now they just topple over EVERYTHING with it on.

I don't know where you got that, whenever I go online, Wehr players usually go Blitz (I do too).

It really is the most balanced faction; elite infantry, tank call-ins, and some neat abilities.

Giving them a sniper makes them more OP and less unique.

Besides, at this rate the balancers will bitch RMC out of existence.

Maybe there is no one playing right now. You can try to arrange a match here though.

I often see 6~ games every time I get on.

Although I can't join a single one since they're all often private, or using custom maps.

just finished to test a technique.

The T-34s in the game aren't very durable, and head on will lose to a Panzer IV almost every time just because of their weaker armor. You would use these to flank the enemy tanks because of their superior speed, and hit the Panzer's side or rear armor.

And it is true, the IS-2 is completely broken. But that's a bug, not intentional.

And yes, try the ISU-152.

Strelky can get PPSh'es at vet 1, DP28's at vet 2, and perhaps something else at vet 3.

Isn't that what the 'Red banner Strelky' upgrade is for?

We don't want people play our mod just because it is similar to BK. Also, we have never aimed for such thing and certainly we would be stepping on N44/BK shoes, which is not intended either.

Honestly I'd like a realistic mod that isn't completely axis biased like BK is, but I see where you're coming from.

Again, it'd just be a lot of work it seems if it was actually going to be a thing.

It'd be useful yes, but I was under the impression the IS-2 was supposed to be the Soviet's tank to be the heavy AT like the German's Panther. Or at least it was, until it's damage values were broken completely.

He is talking about the stats page at the end of games.  As Brits if you got vet on your lt/CT, it would display, but he is saying that it does not show any points for vet.  He does not mean in the actual game, of course they receive vet.

Kinda vague I guess. Again though, I've had no problem getting veterancy points for vehicles as Brits gained through the CCT in EF. The OP stating the lack of points for soviets is still an issue I get.

I noticed similar problem...
British vehicles do not gain veterancy (without the command tank) at all. In normal CoH even without the command tank, just driving the staghounds, stuarts, cromwells or fireflies - always I get about 90-100 vet points at the end...
The same units, the same doctrine in EF dont gain the veterancy at all...

Could someone PLZ send some info how is possible to gain veterancy vehicles points in EF? (only with command tank or also somehow without it?)

British vehicles have never gained veterancy. No British unit does, except officers/CCT.

And you should be getting veterancy points for everyone else. America/Panzer Elite/Soviets gaining it through combat, and Wehrmacht buying it.

I know I know, why am I playing the vanilla campaigns in Eastern Front, I always have but I haven't had something like this.
