Oh, and it seems points taken by a player using the RMC, can't be secured by ANOTHER player. Say, an RMC player caps a fuel point and an American ally secures it with a listening post. When secured, it generates NO bonus resources.
I don't know if it's a bug or not, but it's still pretty annoying.

I didn't mean the execute ability that those corrupt Soviet Officers have, I'm talking about the execute ability that targets the enemy instead and acts very similar to the Infantry Section's 'Deploy Marksman' ability but instead of using a rifle, he uses a pistol.
To be honest I wouldn't mind him having both, or at least the execution of friendly infantry. Considering a LOT of Soviet officers were actually criminally insane Commisars, heck it'd really just remind me of Imperial Guard in DoW. Poor infantry that does better when you put something scary behind them.

Honestly I wouldn't mind him being somewhere near as tough as say, the other officers from other factions. Maybe not quite as the captain, but up there.
And an execute ability for historical accuracy....

For whatever reason I'm now imagining a realistic churchill bouncing flak 88 rounds all the time. Which sounds hilarious.
Still, I like the idea but I feel at the moment it'd be a LOT of work. Right now I imagine they just want Ostheer out and see what happens from there.

First off I'm pretty sure that was the Bren gun carrier's intention when it was implemented by Relic in the first place. While I admit it is pretty crazy when it works, but it's a very difficult task for it to function. There's A LOT of micro-ing involved that can end up crippling you when you're focusing just on getting your troops settled in it. Even with fausts, it can have the chance to instantly kill the bren carrier (and the crew), or at least cripple it severely.
Again it really loses it's luster when you get it as RMC for it, considering people often have AT guns that instantly kill it by that point. Even in vanilla Brits it's really a "This will either work or fuck me resource wise this early."

CCT grants speed (possibly), accuracy, range, and fire rate.
Basically improved fighting performance
Which reminds me, dunno if it's been brought up or even relevant. But for whatever reason the RMC version of the CCT doesn't seem to want to gain veterancy at ALL, despite tailing two battle-worn comets the whole round. I'll try to recreate the situation in a skirmish game, but I'd still like to know if anyone else had gotten something like this (Or if that's the point).

Just launch normal vCoH, problem solved . I don't play EF for the Operations since its better in vCoH because of the larger amount of players and no diffrence in gameplay.
While that's.... very true, at the same time I'd still like there to be the option for it to work properly. Maybe even add Soviets/Ostheer stuff (Assuming that's even possible).

Greetings, was finding any solution to this problem, found only this topic.
I have same problem with my friend - Yes we have an original game; yes we have up-dated game; yeeees our computers can handle CoH I don't know, where is the problem. Any other mapas are working well, only Operations doesn't work Just black screen
Yeah, I get the same thing. Really seems no matter what you set, playing in EF makes operations not work. Just need to wait for a fix.

another problem with raider's, is that when a raider holding a piat dies and you upgraded to thompson's. when you reinforce the squad, you'l now have an extra thompson guy and 1 less piat guy, and if the entire piat men die over time, you'l end up with asquad of just thompson's.
which made me think, maybe the piat's should be removed because ultimatly you end up with them all with thompson's anyway lol
Yeah, I get that with a lot of troops unfortunately, and it seems the only way to fix it would be finding the weapon they dropped (assuming it's still there or dropped it at all). Otherwise you're out of a PIAT Honestly I wouldn't mind seeing them actually become 'elite' infantry to at least make up for the 2 freaking pop-cap each, or just make them 1 each. While I understand they were meant to be in a transport, I'd still like to see them be good outside one.
