In some parts of the world today, T-34s are still serving in militaries but not as an MBT. What can they possibly be used for?

Strategy and Tactics / How to get better at Situational Building
« on: May 19, 2015, 03:17:25 AM »
One thing that is hard for me is, "Build based on the situation, not on what a build order would suggest." How can I get better at building units situationally?

I'm wondering because the T-70 is better for anti armor than T-90, but T-70 is good at anti infantry like the T-90. T-70 is better basically.

I played 2 games against actual people and I got wrecked both times. I am thinking maybe get incendiary grenades or circle strafing the Sdkfz 222 Car, but idk.

Strategy and Tactics / Stealing Heavy Weapon Teams vs Producing Them
« on: April 25, 2015, 05:19:07 PM »
In a game as Wehrmacht, Ostheer, or Soviets, when should I steal an SG-43, M1938, MG-42, Pak, and so forth, as opposed to producing one of my own?

For recrewing, is the health and strength of that team determined by what kind of squad? Like, would a Jaeger-seized Zis-3 be better than a Landser-seized Zis-3?

Suggestions / More maps in Finland and Northern Soviet Union
« on: April 17, 2015, 08:54:46 PM »
It would be great if there were more maps dealing with the Continuation War. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I know Tali-Ihantala is a Finnish map, but correct me if it is not the only one.

Strategy and Tactics for Ostheer / Ostheer Pools
« on: March 14, 2015, 09:09:52 PM »
For Ostheer, which pool should I pick from the beginning against all the Allied factions in 1 v 1? Which situations call for changing unit pools? I would like to know specifically for all the Allied factions, but mostly Americans and Soviets.

I am wondering about this because of the Sino-German cooperation that lasted until 1941. Had Germany kept supporting China in the 2nd Sino-Japanese War, they may have started exporting the Panzer III/Panzer IVs. The PzIII had a 37mm gun like the Pak 36, while the Panzer IV had a short-barreled 75mm gun, for infantry support. These tanks were not good against Allied tanks, but neither were Japanese ones. Do you think a Panzer III with its 37mm gun or a Panzer IV with its infantry 75mm gun could defeat a Type 97 Chi-Ha?

What strategy can I do as PE, the first thing being to build T1?
How do Panzergrenadiers, Scout Cars, and Kettenkrads do when they capture sectors? Are Scout Cars as good as Kettenkrads?

Eastern Front / BT-5 vs T-34/76
« on: September 23, 2014, 04:06:26 AM »
How are the two tanks different, and how is the T-34/76 better?

Strategies for a Double Ostheer combo against a Brit/Soviet combo?

What strategy and build order can I do as the Wehrmacht against the Allied Factions?

I've been struggling as Soviets lately. I don't know how to effectively use their infantry. Everytime I play, I don't know what to use. Previously I would just use Conscripts before Strelky, but I've been back to playing and I just can't do that anymore.

Random question, who wins? DP-28 RBS or PPS-43 SG at range?

Strategy and Tactics for Soviets / T-34/76 and its attributes
« on: January 20, 2012, 04:34:05 AM »
What are the T-34/76 veterancy benefits? And what are its damage, speed, and armor in comparison to: Panzer IV, Panther, Tiger, and King Tiger? And any other information worth noting? And another thing, is the Lanchester's square law really applicable to tanks? i doubt it

Off Topic / Zombies vs Kursk Defense?
« on: December 26, 2011, 05:00:06 PM »
How hard would it be for zombies to try to break through Kursk? not only are there about 2 million men, but there are 5,00 tanks, 25,000 types of guns, artillery, and about 2,800 aircraft. This came to my mind after to have been looking up stuff on the Battle of Kursk.
