Unfortunately, the launch from corsix button has been broken for a while, I think at least since 2.6, probably earlier. What you'll have to do is make a shortcut for your mod and launch from there, which is inconvenient, but only a minor, one-time effort!

Hey there, welcome aboard!

One of the best things about Company of Heroes is that it has such a diverse playerbase coming from all walks of life, and continues to be such a popular form of media. Like you said, it also is a good reminder of the horror and heroism of the people who fought for their countries and families during this time.

Regarding your donation question, unfortunately I do not know the answer, since I do not have access to that, but I am sure that someone with the relevant knowledge will get back to you once they are online!

I think the OP is complaining because the SS super soldiers can't be in, and he really wants to slaughter the inferior soviet conscripts with the best military of all time (nevermind that they lost the war).

Joking aside, a simple answer is that symbols of nazism are illegal in more countries than the symbols of communism. The eastern front was a brutal war of philosophy, and the EF team has done a great job of balancing that without being insensitive to the horrible effects of both regimes. It's a problem that Relic and modders have had to deal with from the beginning, and the obvious choice is to ban nazi symbols to allow the largest possible audience to play. There's references to ideology in both factions, and yes, the soviet faction has a more obvious propaganda doctrine, but that doesn't mean that the devs are trying to be soviet propaganda.

Because thats how they were textured. It's not like you can copy and paste the skins - you have to make them from scratch.

FWIW, many forms of sushi lose nuances when you use soy sauce ;)

I have done custom animations, and all I can say is that it's not at all worth it, unless it is necessary. For example, the sturmtiger reload is possible, but don't plan on spending any less than a staff week on just the crew moving alone, and that's for a basic animation.

Regarding aircraft flying in circles: not possible with the coh1 engine.

I might be too late on this, but I had a problem like that with a very easy solution - open up the registry editor and make sure your paths match up correctly. For me, it was looking in an old install directory.

the purpose is just the appearance of the dhsk mg team.. faster suppression maybe..

I can understand the desire to have as much as possible, but the goal of the mod is to have good gameplay and balance, not to just cram as many assets in as possible. That works for other mods or games, but for Company of Heroes, this doesn't make sense. If there's no real reason to add the unit, it doesn't merit the effort required to implement it, especially from an animating perspective.

Hey EF team,

I'm hoping I can help you out in some way that isn't just modeling lol. Steam display name is currently -sb- Lev, The Commissar.

Qualifications: I used to play automatch for a while but I stopped being competitive as I discovered modding. Play EF mostly against Normal - Expert AI and I'm not ashamed to say that I don't win every match lol. Odds are I'll lose to your testers but not without a fight. Modding experience is pretty nifty though when it comes to testing another mod.
