I am sorry guys. Its been maybe even years since we had this release so I dont remember much from it.
But at the moment Ostheer is using an airdrop healing.
You can try it out by asking for a steam closed beta key. If you do so someone from the devs will contact you to give you one I guess.

About the field hospital - it gives you manpower after collecting dead bodies - that is it but it can be seen as OP thing :P

All new doctrines are disabled for now. After the main game is balanced to a good state the time to balance and if needed redesign a bit the new doctrines will come.

after a small update the normal ef steam version broke again, I mean it shows the executable error again :/

Fixed.
So I had a bat file called Run_EasternFront.bat  and I needed to rename it to Run Eastern Front.bat

The problem is, the bat file used to run the mod was renamed and that's why it is getting the error.

Steam looks for Run_EasternFront.bat and there is no longer a file named like that. Rename the file with the former name and it will be fixed.


EDIT:
Nevermind... I uploaded the latest build again, with the new version of the missing "executable".
Something is wrong tho :D
Trying to start the CoH:EF and it says missing executable ... but also didnt got any downloads for the game. Yesterday it was starting and working with the previous version.
I checked my game folder and there is a .bat file called Run_EasternFront.bat

Those are fixed in steam version for sure  but I assume you are not running it?

In steam there is not advertising for your stream.
I mean - if you dont tell your viewers to go there they cant see that you are streaming. Yes your steam friends will be able to just right click on you in their friends list and use "Watch game" but since the friends list are limited I dont see is as any advantage.
Maybe a steam group can do the trick but again its IMO way harder to build up community there at 1st place.
I am pretty sure that steam streaming also lacks a lot of the viewer experience options compared to twitch.

In twitch all your followers receive an e-mail when you go online. There you can make your follower get to you by twitter or facebook and your stream actually have a link that you can post (something I dont remember having in steam streaming)

So in general Twitch is MUCH better than Steam streaming, especially if you are a streamer with big fan base.
If you are new but you have the time to create a FB and/or twitter accounts and promote yourself Twitch is still much better.

If you are doing it just for your friend or something then maybe there is no difference between both platforms.

At least as a balancer you have access to the internal balance forums where you can see the doctrine and the discussion about it. :)

EDIT: and some (if not more) of the units are placeholders  :D

Game 2 is a must watch to have fun.
1h game with at least 30 tanks build and destroyed :D

Well I cant remember all those timers and they may be changed anytime + having them ingame will give players a better strategic choice knowing how much time certain unit or upgrade will cost them and comparing it to their possible another solution of the current ingame situation.

Hello,

Is it possible to make in unit/upgrade information where you can see its cost in man power, fuel, munitions, pop cap to add the time needed to be produced/researched ?

I know that when codding you can see those times but can they be shown to the players in game ?
