General Discussion / Re: No Rush mod?

@ Red Guard.

It is not so easy like you say ! i always harras and cap because i mostly play US or PE but seriously, bizzy building my 4th rifle squad and teching up and you see that the whermacht or PE halftrack rush you with mp44 or 43 grens while you still need to tech to motorpool or bar.
It is because they get resource faster then you so they can pump out units no matter what.
on Hard they are more realistic to handle then on expert.
I find the Panzer elite easier to handle on Expert then the whermacht.

I remember a game i was playing with friends against AI and seriously, we had like the whole map ! and the AI still knew to pump out masses of panthers and call ins while they only had like 3 capped points left :D

Well the AI is hard that is a fact.

I play COH for a while now and even i get my a$$ kicked by expert, specially whermacht.
on hard and expert they get faster resource and mp so can pump units out much faster.

It is better to play against human players.
And like being said before you need to know the mechanics of the game plus how the factions play.

US,Soviets and PE are more offensive and pressure then the british and the whermacht wich play more defensive but has offenisve companies or doctorines.

Guys, a bit of a noobish question but what does this god of war actually do ! a sortha sector arty but all over the map ????

I see rain of shells falling all over the map but i see it dropping on MY units instead of the enemy :P
plus it seems to follow my units everywhere i am battling on the map.

Glad they are working on it.

@ godlike dennis, i agree partly with you.

People who spam elite units will get crippled in manpower so you know that they will be strugglin.

Like said on 1vs1 and 2vs2 the limit is enough, on large games if you going to encounter whermacht heavies 3 rangers or airborne supporting your m10's or 57mm's aint enough.

Relic has Designed the US faction that the airborne and rangers fill the AT support gap but with the limit it has been crippled big time.
you can't hold it with riflemen only.
But they are working on it so we just have to wait and see in the next patch (patches)

General Discussion / Call ins
« on: April 08, 2011, 11:49:42 AM »
Hello,
New to the forum and eastern front, i hope this is the right subsection but i already read and understood that the call ins have been limited because of the AI that would only spam the best units.

But still i have questions about this and i hope they can be answered.

I mostly play the PE or the US faction because they are more offensive orientated.
the problem is, the limits on call ins like the rangers, AT drop , airborne can really kill a match, specially when you play large games.
on 1vs1 or 2vs2 it is OK.

The Wehrmacht for example has so many non doctrine units that are well suited for the roll they fullfill.
The Americans have gaps in their units there is why the rangers, airborne come in....to fullfill the gaps specially for their AT role.
now most people spam these units specially rangers because they are universal but good players know how to counter them plus the upkeep is so high that a spam will be a bad idea since you will be badly crippled on MP
in need of an AT drop......ow damn, already dropped 3....your toast.

Long story short, is there any sight on if the limits will be removed or even if the AI will be fixed it will stay this way? because IMHO that is not the company of heroes like we know it is.

Other then that i wanna say the MOD is superb, certainly the best i have seen ! keep up the good work.
