Every time I try to play the mod using a standard account (No administrator privileges), the mod crashes before it even starts loading the game. I would click on the Eastern shortcut and get an error message that prompts me to send an error report to Microsoft. A lot of good that will do me! lol.

However, when I open the shortcut on an administrator account, the mod loads just fine.

My computer is running Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 3.

Is anyone else getting this problem? This happened to me after installing the new patch.

It's because certain features of the launcher requires admin permission, to go in details it's the downloader. However it must be approved when the launcher starts.

On Vista and Win 7 there will be a UAC permission popup, I thought it would be the same on XP, but I see not. I'll add this to the sticky.

You can right click and "run as..." on XP to make it run with an Admin Account while being on a Standard Account.
