Prisons or prisoncamps
« on: July 17, 2011, 01:09:19 AM »
Hi, i read some of the ideas and i came up with an idea. I know it might sound a bit crazy, but in my opinion it would be cool to have prisons or prisoncamps.
If you want to take prisoners then you need to pin down enemies with a mg dug out or some other way. When have the enemy pinned down you take some team , for an example Guards team and you take them to prison in some way.  ;D  Well it is just my idea.

For the campaign, sounds alright. I'm not so sure it's a good idea though, but it can't hurt to try it, i guess. :-\

Nope, such thing won't work on EF. This idea was suggested in the past, but we are not willing to implement this (AFAIK).

That'd be unfair for balance reasons and impractical, I'm not even sure if that's possible for a multiplayer game.

German POWs were never sentenced to serve in the soviet army in fear of betrayal if I read my books correctly. Executions were much easier.

It's mainly unfair because lets say you pin a Gren squad and instantly take them to the "Prison". You just got a free squad (Conscripts or Strelky I would presume) for what your opponent paid 300 mp for.

Someone could probably make a map based in a Prison Camp, but given the Dev's stance on things like Prison Camps, Genocide, SS, and other related scenarios , even if it's a good map it probably wouldn't be accepted.

There's nothing wrong with POW camps. The devs are against any political repression/genocidal camps. I think it'd be fine to have a campaign mission based on this. Proposing it for multiplayer is ridiculous to say the least though.
If you get into an argument with me, you're wrong.

I meant you could make a regular MP Map that takes place at a Prison.
