Will the Ostheer get "foundation" upgrades too? I see you guys are looking into making the infantry vet more like the Russian veterancy (Just adding another unit and some new weapons) but will they get accuracy and health bonuses too? Because if its just going to be like the Russian upgrades (adding an officer and some weapons/ abilities) then I recommend they dont take a longer time to build, but if they get health/accuracy bonuses then its fine.
For example: (JUST AN EXAMPLE), [
WITHOUT health/accuracy bonuses]: You purchase a vet 3 Grenadier squad (on the ostheer veterancy system), takes about 90 seconds to make, and it costs around 400MP, but the Russians make 2 conscript squads, not upgraded, they will beat the Vet 3 Grenadiers. Just because they have MP44s doesnt mean anything, if thier health/accuracy is still the same as vet 1, they will just be like vet 1 with good guns, which is useless. Think about Knights Cross Holders, what if they had vet 1 Grenadier health at vet 3 or if Grenadiers had Vet1 Volk's health at vet 3? Would they still be as useful as they are, probably not. But the point I'm trying to make is this: Sure, add in the extra officer and Mp44s if you want, but if thats all they get, if they still have vet 1 health at vet 3, one good mortar round will (especially Russian
) wipe them out, and you just wasted the extra money, without foundation improvements, then whats the use of vetting?
