Ideas for Finnish Command Tree

Here i will post some of my ideas for an Finnish Command Tree for Eastern Front mod Ostheer side feel free to comment and provide your own ideas!  :)


Finnish Command Tree Offensive side

2CP "Finnish Long Range Patrol"

This unit is like Soviet Partisans armed with Molotovs, Satchel charges and Suomi smgs and ability to scout and call in offmap artillery?

2CP "Detachment Kuhlmey Ground Attack"

(Historicial Info now) Detachment Kuhlmey was a temporary unit of Luftwaffe that was sent to help Finns strike back Russian offensive of Summer of 1944.

In game it could be some ground strike like ability like Stukas or Focke Wulfs bombing.

3CP or 4CP Finnish Armoured Division "Fist of Lagus"

This ability could call in KV-1,T-34,T-34/85 or Stug 3 randomly and some Finnish infantry support that can be upgraded with either Soviet DPs or Finnish Suomi smgs for defense or offense.

To save time here are some quotes from the italian suggestion thread.
They will help you to create a doctrine.
Posting a list with a couple of unstructured ideas wont help the EF mod.
Create doctrines basing on the COH structure. Think about your doctrine. Make a concept. Find a way to design a special gameplay type that will fit to the Ostheer gamestyle.
And please dont post just one or two ideas. Thanks!

Uh... It's just call-ins?

There are no passive nor active abilities. You need to balance your doctrine. There won't be enough manpower in the world to call all of this in, even if you had a resource blitz. Seriously.

Also, we are sticking to the 3X3 layout for doctrines, not less or more.

So, I suggest you take a look at how the regular doctrines for Americans and Wehrmacht are designed, and then return with a more appropriate design.

The major goal is a well themed and balanced doctrine that will add new ideas, new strategics and new gameplay moments for the faction.
A well designed doctrine is a synergy between active and passive abilities. You will always need stuff for munition sink. Call-ins should be limited and well placed.
It is difficult to create a doctrine. It is not looking in wikipedia for italian keywords and make a list out of this search results. Have a feeling for the faction and try to add new moments to this feeling.
Thats a CoH EF doctrine.
