Major of Command Squad skin, corrected.
« on: January 27, 2010, 10:42:21 PM »
Hallo all mates.

SA fraction (Soviet Army) is modelled in game as it was in 43-45 uniform. With epoulettes and new shevrons, ranks e.t.c.

But the only unit with "old style uniform" is the main unit, Major Danko :)

Its time to rework it a bit. Really little job, but will look much attractive :)

1. Remove shevron (triangles).
2. Add epoulettes.
3. Rework this area.
4. add 2 buttons.
5. Correct a colour, to make it same khacky as other cloth.
6. Darker and greener colour must be.

If I cloud do it by myself - but I dont know where to find that skin in folders...

Good suggestion. Let's get that uniform updated!

Also, I think everyone would agree if the current model lost that stupid hat and overcoat. Give him an SSh-40 helmet:

and a uniform like this:

Now that will look very nice.

It is 41-43 uniform again...

And overcoat is fine, looks better (IMHO) as in summer uniform.

Major is a command officer, he does not scare of enemy fire and need no helmets and other stuff for private soldiers :)

You know - my idea was to make it changed to correct form IN EASY WAY, not to changing a model - ONLY SKIN.
