Talking about other mods CoH.

Hey all  ;D

In this topic I wanted to know what your sentence is on about other mods to CoH which are on the side moddb.com.

Perhaps I will start it:

Blitzkrieg mod - Even I like Mod, a realistic system has fights, many new units, skins, new tech tree. But because of that mod is much more difficult. The game from people isn't already so simple like in vCoH. Fundamentally I rarely play this mod, like already it only with friends (we are talking to ourselves through teamspeak called "Skype").

Battle for the middle kingdom -Mod is being heralded curiously but how most probably you already know, author ripped all models of forms the other games like Men of War. But if he is already release, I will try this mod.

Modern Combat - Carrying an interesting idea the present to CoH world. Models of tanks, the infantry, or even helicopters (I am curious about their animation) are very pretty, and the game is supposed to have vanillia system. I will play with pleasure this mod.

The Great War 1918 - Well, models are good. The mod will have probably realistic system but i dont know - "This mod will focus or realism but keep the game balanced enough to make it enjoyable". I prefer vanilla system but if this mod will have realistic system, i will play it. Anyway the mods looks very good.

Battle of the Bulge - A winter is ruling in the game, and even very much it looks nice. Pretty skins models and even pretty uniforms of soldiers. Mod has a bit of a strange system of the fight, what the game is losing the taste by. But generally I don't like this mod.

Imperial Reign -Star Wars in CoH world, strange but idea is very good. Such a shame that work on it the mod is very much slow but nicely would be to see lasers and machines striding on CoH maps.

It so much, I am not talking about other mods, because either I didn't play them or I didn't simply them interesting.

And now it's your turn.  ;D

Your English is kind of hard to understand.

Anyway, i find choppers quite intriguing. How would they work in Company Of Heroes gameplay? Also, i read somewhere around here about an Army Men mod, which sounds just up my alley. (I absolutely LOVE the Army Men games!)

Rataconfusca nowhere says it will use realistic damage system simply it is based on realism meaning realistic units as in no zeppelins or crazy units. Not that they arent going to use realistic damage but its kind of in dispute. (I also prefer the vanilla damage system)

Can't wait for TGW mod... honestly, I get giddy whenever they update,

Modern Combat can be hit and miss at times... the effort that has went into it so far is superb but I'm not sure about how they will pull off the modern day feel in a village that looks like 1940s France.

BFTMK is best the described the way you have... a curiosity. Although the setting and theatre may be obscure, the amount of extra content in there so far is staggering. Who cares if he ripped the models from Men of War? He still had to animate and get them ingame which in itself is a monumental task.

You forgot:

ZOMBIE mod - well, it's really hard to describe - you fight with zombies using US army, mecenaries and civilians.

Europe in Ruins Reineforcements - mod which focuses ONLY on fighting. Only PvP, great to improve micro.

N44 - mod which is about historical realism - you play for example using 29th inf. Div, or LSSAH. Similiar to BK mod. However a lot of new skins makes this mod often crash.

Battle of Krete - German paratroopers vs. Brits. Really fun when you have mate to play against.

Zombie Mod is 100% a fun oriented mod it isnt burdened with as much of a degree of realism like the other mentioned mods and is one of the most I am looking forward to.

Blitzkrieg mod is great. While there are some flaws, overall its a great one. I especially like the expanded doctrines and unit variation depending on the doctrines.
BoTB mod wasn't all that great. I have a decent computer but it was always lagging because of the increased range and number of units.
I know Eastern Front will be even better when the Ostheer comes out!

IMHO it's almost impossible to put all mods in to one sack. We have vanilla-like mods ( EF, BotMK, Modern Warfare), realistic mods ( BK, BotB, N44) and other ( Zombie mod, Star Wars mod).

Can't bear to think how an AT-AT would work... It would take up the whole map!

And on the subject of civilians: How feasible would it be to put them in Eastern Front? I think it would be funny to watch them running around, getting crushed by tanks, but maybe that's just my sense of humor...

Civilians would be either very difficult or impossible I reckon. I have no idea where we'd start.

Europe in Ruins Reineforcements - mod which focuses ONLY on fighting. Only PvP, great to improve micro.

Oh yeah, I've always wanted to try the Operation Market Garden mod but never had the time.

hmm..i never played EiRR mod, because you need new account to this mod. Zombie mod looks fine, but i will play it if they will release a full version. N44 i play never to, because i heard that this mod have many errors and crashes. Now they will put in version 2.0 soviets. My friend told me that he never finished any battle on this mod, because many crashes he had got. And Battle of Krete...i played this mod but it's to funny and not balanced like MG 32 is to OP for infantry.
