Propoganda and the Red Tide

With God of War being fixed I think the doctrine will see a increase in usage after the patch.

However my main point involves the Red Tide ability. Its a great ability that fits the soviets perfectly. It replaces lost infantry squads.

My point im trying to make is I think the Red Tide ability comes too late. Your going to pick right side first for katyusha and GoW leaving left side an afterthought.
Which by the time you acquire Red Tide the infantry charge has really lost its punch.
It would be great if it came a few CP's earlier when a mass charge to obtain map control could really make the difference in dislodging stubborn axis gun lines

I would like to see it obtained easier maybe lowering CPs? However Im not sure the best way to keep it balanced while still making it useful.

Comrades I ask your thoughts on this matter anyone else agree that this ability comes a bit late for what it does, decreasing its effectiveness/efficiency? And what do you think can be done to buff this under used ability.

keep in mind Im talking about 1v1 auto settings because in team games balance is generally skewed anyway

I guess it would be nice if there was something (at 3CPs) that protects Soviets from PE MP44 blobs/AC rush. Katiushas are fine for that but they apear at 4CPs and some pepole (including me :P ) want them to be moved to 5CPs (with a stats buff).
This change wont alter the balance since Soviet squads will lose vet while PE will earn it. Midgame wehrmacht dosnt have the firepower to kill multiply units in one engagement (Red Tide has a long cooldown).

GoW isn't the only thing changing with prop. Wait and see.

Remember that Red Tide ability is the most powerful ability propaganda has to offer. Every lost squad is respawning. It's just sending your forces to death, making 1000+ mp and fuel damage and losing anything. It's very very very powerful, I'd even risk calling it OP.

I wouldnt call it OP, the only way I see abusing it to make it OP is if you have a blob of tank hunter infantry and throw them in suicide charges at late game axis armor or base rushes. and still a competent player will know how to dispatch this without losing more than one or two units

However that in of itself rarely occurs and the better players rarely mass any one kind of unit.

If axis has map control by the time you acquire the current red tide, there can be multiple MG's ostwinds, AC's mortars etc. so losing 5-6 infantry squads can happen rather fast.

I dont know I'll wait for patch but I still think you will go right side of prop tree first almost always, and I still believe the Red Tide comes a few CP's too late.  You still do lose vet on the squads replaced by Red Tide, a whole gameplays worth of valuable irreplacable vet.

I have been wrong before, but im also a very experienced player max 1v1 auto lvl 14 player. im not a troll soviet fanboy!

I will wait for new EF patch and hope for the best. thx Comrades
