FLGator? Who the fuck ARE you to be telling me how to run things? You have no clue as to the coordination that goes in to a 1 day tournament. Instead, this will be more like a test cricket match. Each round will run for a day or two to allow for timezone differences. It's a much more intelligent way of running the tourney than simply setting a time which not everyone will be able to attend at start time or for the duration of the tourney.

As Cranial has said, tourneys have run quite fine in the past of which I was the coordinator of one. This is only the second attempt at this tournament which is better because it will contain the latest balance patch and will not be at a fixed time that was an issue with the previous attempt.
If you get into an argument with me, you're wrong.

Unfortunately, the only people that show up are Vonklaus and myself.

Not true. vonKlaus was busy till late night and couldnt play with you at scheduled time.

Only plp that were on time were me, John, Glimz i think, Dennis, and some other stuff.

The only thing i agree with you is that it doesnt make sense to join a tourney when you dont play. Only Cranial said he couldnt play on time

It wasn't only me!  >:( It was agreed on a widescale that setting one specific starting time was rubbish because at 1 PM in one time zone is 1 AM in another, this leading to failure to participate.

At least the way it's set up now is that everyone could play.

I had joined the tourney initially expecting it to be on June 4th but it was moved to the following week to where it was debatable if I could attend or not.

Exactly. It's only totally necessary to set up a deadline, else there will be players who will keep putting their games back and back and back. To prevent this every game has to be played until said date.

Abuse is abuse and has to go.

I would like to add that you guys all suck. This is about the 5th time we've tried to do this. It will never work, so you should all quit trying. Unfortunately, the only people that show up are Vonklaus and myself. Until you guys put some money on this, and make it a real tournament..... what do you really expect?  You think a bunch of gamers are going to be coordinated enough to talk about times and maps? hahahaha, never happen. There has to be a prize, scheduled times, and some penalty for dropping out.
Now that I have enlightened the powers that be on how to run this shit, make it happen!

somehow that sounds pretty arrogant!

even you and vonklaus werent able to be online at the original time!!!
and the restart (organisation) of dennis is much better the the 1st try. especially since it is not limited to a single day.

and we have good reasons to whait untill next patch is released!!!

you can belive me, dennis knows how to organize a tournament and i think with him as new "leader" this tourney becomes much better.

This is a good idea, but i think its best to do this after the organization have a defined start time.
