Yeah it's awesome, except for when I siege Khazad-Dum and 10 Balrogs come out  :-\. That pissed me off so much I quit but this talk of the mod makes me want to play it again. Maybe as a faction that doesn't go near the Misty Mountains :P.

You could starve Khazad-Dum into surrender. It seems balrogs don't persist on hate alone.

If you like RomeTW try the Rome total Realism_Fate of Empires Mod.
The Diadochi mod for Alexander is very good too, although it is is WIP.

I have Europa Barbororum, which is pretty complicated, but the factions are really diverse so it's incredibly fun once you learn the government system and stuff.

RTR VII is much the same. In your modding efforts for Rome TW have you come across a good way to delay the Marian Reforms by say 200 turns?

Yeah in EB the Roman unit selection gradually changes to follow various reforms (Polybian etc.). The Marian reforms don't occur until like 100BC or something. You also have to meet certain other requirements before certain reforms happen.
