It doesn't, last proper Sim City game came out in 2003. What I meant was, Sim City was a good franchise, but EA decides to continue it on by re-releasing Sim City 3000 on Mobile phones and IPads. Depressing shit, the world needs another good sandbox city simulator.

Speaking of city builders... what's this gem?

Last good SimCity was SimCity4. Highly moddable and there's TONS of add on content for it, you can do great shit with it.

Sim City 4 got me into 3D modelling, if it wasn't for that games awesome modding potential i'd probably have stuck to Graphic Design instead of 3D Art. Think I got to the point where I had 3GB of plugins, which is more than the game itself. Had some massive problems, mod conflicts, that sort of crap... I must have spent half my SC4 modding days just sifting through the plugins folder, deleting shit to fix bugs. Got to the point where I couldn't even press the 'play' button on the simulation since the game would crash after 2 minutes, so I just started 'plopping' buildings in order to construct cities, even though these buildings served no real purpose, it was all just eyecandy...

Oh, my game was

AIV Evolution Global...

Yeah, some obscure Japanese game I wanted instead of GTA1 back in 1996... I got them both since my stepdad insisted I got GTA despite my malfunctioning 9 year old brain. Was in Ireland too... I think GTA was banned here, at least, that's what I was told... my mother probably didn't want me mouthing off about how I got a Cert. 18 game for Christmas when I was only 9 ;D
