Last good SimCity was SimCity4. Highly moddable and there's TONS of add on content for it, you can do great shit with it.

Sim City 4 got me into 3D modelling, if it wasn't for that games awesome modding potential i'd probably have stuck to Graphic Design instead of 3D Art. Think I got to the point where I had 3GB of plugins, which is more than the game itself. Had some massive problems, mod conflicts, that sort of crap... I must have spent half my SC4 modding days just sifting through the plugins folder, deleting shit to fix bugs. Got to the point where I couldn't even press the 'play' button on the simulation since the game would crash after 2 minutes, so I just started 'plopping' buildings in order to construct cities, even though these buildings served no real purpose, it was all just eyecandy...

I do agree it's an timewasting game. I once went on a plugin download spree had a similar problem. I just toned back a bit recently and picked it up again. Now all my cities look like a blizzard. (Self-modded a frozen water mod too!) I could spend hours making new area connections with the NAM (El Rail over Road over Road overpasses with a underground highway and subway...holy shit so many people could travel into cities they just get too big!) So many mods too like you said. I have mods that put my subway and bus stations on the roads instead of taking up spaces

When people can't find jobs I just bulldoze their house. It works. If a neighborhood can't find a job, I bulldoze a large building that can't find jobs in the area and SUDDENLY everyone gets up and finds a job! Musta scared them.

Yeah, I had a bus station mod like that... problem was, if you plopped it on the road infront of a house, the house would get cut off from the road and just abandon. I'd pick SC4 up again, but it would take up far too much of my time... I like to make Soviet style cities, all Industry and very little commerce. I even modded a GUM store like they have in Moscow to act as the main hub for all the citizens shopping, would cater for about 5,000 jobs. Got a guy to make me a unique 'Super demand' mod for industry and residentials so my cities didn't go crazy without commerce, plus the Industry Jobs Quadrupler was a god send. Just a shame there wasn't much Soviet bloc style stuff like housing, automata, props, industry, power plants, all that kicked off gradually once I started my CJ and made some friends in the modding scene. I like to think I started an eastern european love affair over a simtropolis, despite some of the negative commentry it got. Some people voted me for an 'Everyones favourite Commie' Trixie award at the end of 2007 I think... never got it though >:(

I doubt we could put this in EF ;D

Impressive!

I don't like the economic mods though. You put them in the game and if something goes wrong like you take it out you have a economic meltdown of epic proportions.
You had the same bus mod I did. I just make sure that 1 tile houses can't be grown infront of it xD

Maxi's right, that is a Hotchkiss.

As for the game, I'm not sure... looks like a cheap version of World of Tanks (and considering WoT is free... ;D )

Seriously... PS1? Wow, the graphics aren't the tops but they are definitely impressive for an PS1 era game. Must be the PC version or something, seriously.

Anybody remember this game for the PS1? In comparison it looks like absolute shit.

Hehe yes. It really put the PS1 at its limits! I think it came during the time between PS1 and PS2. It has a sequel to the PS2 ! Anybody? ^^

May it be Mechwarrior?
