You know guys millions of ppl do NOT support this bill in the US. Its quite frankly a shitty idea, whoever thought of it. Companies will just abuse their power and fuck with the internet. Even our US president, Barrack Obama vows to veto any attempt of this bill to pass through. At least we have some ppl on our side :D

Im kind of glad EF is doing this (even though I dont like clicking through many black screens >_<)

Thanks to Protest, numbers of supporters in the Congressional Bodies have decreased dramatically.

HOWEVER, before Wikipedia and Google blackouts it could have been passed in the Senate with a 2/3 majority. That means Obama wouldn't be able to do shit.

Italy underwent similar legislation drafts a couple years ago. Italian Wikipedia and Google went black and a few other sites as protest, just like the US, and the law was slammed down to the ground and killed by the public. (The bill came around election year IIRC)

Oh no! What would we do w/o bad acting whores, free tetris, and pirated movies? XD

Im JK, I heavily oppose this bill (especially in since i live in the US)

Its sad to think more than 2/3 of the senate was willing to let this pass  :'(

BTW next time you devs do something like this, could you make the black screens only appear for guest? Its a bit tedious to keep clicking. Im sure any member here wouldn't like this bill anywho.

Approaching Monday's crucial Senate vote there are now 35 Senators publicly opposing PIPA.  Last week there were 5.   And it just takes just 41 solid "no" votes to permanently stall PIPA (and SOPA) in the Senate.  What seemed like miles away a few weeks ago is now within reach.

It worked !

No, but I considered gunning down Pat Leahy when I first saw the introduction of this bill.

This guy is only in office because his leading opposition ran under "The Marijuana Party"
