LOL no one came to this thread. So shouldn't both sides receive a penalty? That only seems fair

If the attackers never show up, there  is no attack and no need of defenders.
Dont you think ? :)

Regardless of whether the attackers arrive or not, defenders MUST be posted. Its not like oh I see not attackers so I wont send ppl cause I know that I get to go throught the loop holes ::). If you are going to penalized goering and schinider you should penalize 2 of ur own.

Thats not meanness that fairness. You dont just get to go through the loopholes cause you didnt notice this attack and then penalize us for sloppiness ::)

According to the rules, Rule 20:
Attack orders from the attacking team must be posted by Tuesday of the week. Defenders should have their team together by Thursday of the week.

Riggsman is part of the attacking team, and the defenders didn't post a reply all week til JB came along and posted, and i quote "................." on friday. So technically I believe that this area now belongs to the Axis.

Although, if we manage to get 2 players, one from each team. That both haven't fought this week, and match them up together. I would think that to be the best solution to this problem and possibly even something to be written down in the regulations. So that we'll always have to try and get a match going.

I would also like to refer to the rule, Rule 2:
Absence is unacceptable within reason. If you as a player are not playing or organizing your games on time you may be kicked from the tourney. Each player has a generous one week to contact in any shape or form his opponent and organize when to hold the battles. If you are consistently absent from attacks or defenses and are unresponsive to messages/contact with your team then you will be cut from the tournament.

When it comes to some of the players involved in this game, I think the comittee should review as to wether or not all of the members of this battle have been abscent in several games or not. And furthermore evaluate if there should be a greater consequence for these players or something of that fashion.

Lol... you are saying that we can attack all of your sectors next round , no matter if the attackers post or not , if you dont defend them they will be ours  ???

Your team says that this territory will be attacked, but in fact no forces are going in.
Why should we defend a ghost attack ?

When our intell reports that there is no axis forces marching to this sector we didnt believe to not encrypted with "ENIGMA" message  :P

I did think, and it's what the rules said, the regulations for this tournament is horrible, but even so fair is fair.

You can attack all our sectors next week with, and i quote "attack order from the attacking team". If the defenders fail to show themselves within thursday then yes you will win all our sectors.

What is my opinion is simply;

- Goering & Schneider will play in the sand next round cause they didn't show up.

- Allies didn't place any names to this post, it's not acceptable. We had to know who would defend here otherwise how can we know which of your players deployed or not. You had to deploy players here, period.

This is clearly a "ghost army" case. And the Allied have to keep defending sectors from... nobody!? ???

Ghost army for sure but you should post the defenders here then ask where the hell are Axis. No deployment is a failure as same as failed attackers.
