Help me please!!! Fallout NV keeps crashing!

Hey guys i got Fallout NV yesterday and i really want to play it but it keeps crashing and i have no idea why i've been looking online for like ever and can't seem to find that works on fixing it and since you guys are like modders you might know how to help me. Also sorry for all the way OFF-topic stuff its just that the EF community is so helpful. Last problem i had i took hours trying to get a way to fix it. Then i come here and i get it fixed instantly anyways

Alright i just put it there because it's not about this mod and its about a different game

You bought it on Steam? Have you checked the integrity of the game cache(option for the game in steam's library)?

Could you post your PC's specs?

Yeah i downloaded with steam. I try to verify the integrity of the cache but it just fails like 75% of the way through i tried uninstalling it and re-installing it and still couldn't verify it.

PC Specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 925 Proccessor 2800 Mhz, 4 Cores, 4 Logical   Process
Memory: 8.00 GB RAM

If you need anymore stuff let me know and please be specific. I'm not to Tech Savvy. Also i am getting a brand new i7 HP high performance machine laptop if you think that will be better in making it not crash

I guess this thread can be deleted or locked because on my new laptop is doesn't crash on it told me to play on Ultra graphics so i think i should be good. But Thanks for responding Bishop
